‘The New Pope’ Labels Two Popes ‘Antichrist’ and ‘Irresponsible’
February 24th, 2020 10:37 PM
Here’s the shocking revelation of the latest episode of The New Pope: the Pope is not a good person. Even though the previous season of The Young Pope made that pretty clear, the HBO series still had to hammer home that unpleasant fact. Now we’re contending with an “antichrist” young Pope along with an “irresponsible,” “conceited,” drug addicted new Pope. The only winners here are those who don't…

No Difference Between 'Saint' and 'Whore' on 'The New Pope'
February 17th, 2020 10:49 PM
At this point, there’s little that HBO’s The New Pope can do to shock audiences anymore. It’s already ridiculed the Church, propped up needless sex, and "upgraded" the Bible. Comparing “whores” to saints or revealing pedophilia in the high ranks is almost no big deal. And that’s what makes the series worse.

Hippie parents Alicia (Tika Sumpter) and Paul Johnson (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) learn to get outside of their comfort zones in the February 11 Valentine's Day episode of ABC's Mixish. In the show, which takes place in the 1980s, Alicia has to grow comfortable with young Rainbow (Arica Himmel) going on a date with Bryce.

'The New Pope' Agrees to 'Upgrade Bible' for Gay Marriage
February 10th, 2020 10:21 PM
This was bound to happen eventually. The latest episode of HBO’s The New Pope now has the audacity to suggest “upgrading” the Bible and the Church to include gay marriage. Somehow, I don’t think the series that’s bashed the Church and called prostitution a “miracle” has any right to lecture Christians.
NPR's Red Carpet for Muslims Mourning Media Bias Against Omar, Tlaib
February 9th, 2020 8:39 AM
NPR's badly named evening newscast All Things Considered recently devoted two eight-minute segments to anchor Audie Cornish soliciting the radical thoughts of Muslim activists in Dearborn, Michigan. In the first, a man named Iltefat Hamzavi fried up this hate nugget: "I've been at many dinner tables where somebody voted for Trump. And you're like, that's like chickens voting for Chick-fil-A." In…

CNN's Rye: Trump's 'Pro-Life' Judges 'Want to Kill Off Everyone Else'
February 8th, 2020 5:54 PM
In a late Thursday, early Friday edition of Cuomo Prime Time, liberal CNN contributors Angela Rye and April Ryan both spewed bile toward conservatives as Rye declared that President Donald Trump's judicial nominees "may be pro-life, but they want to kill off everyone else," and Ryan condemned Rush Limbaugh as a "bigot" and "racist" because he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Cuomo: 'Ugliest' of 'Lies' to Claim Dems Are Extreme on Abortion
February 7th, 2020 9:12 AM
CNN host Chris Cuomo was unhinged late Thursday night into Friday while arguing with conservative contributor Scott Jennings about President Trump’s comments post-acquittal. Cuomo self-righteously lectured that conservative Christians were hypocrites for using abortion as a litmus test for political candidates when Trump didn’t show the faithful any respect, even defending Pete Buttigieg's…

CNN's Harwood: Romney Cares About Right and Wrong, Unlike Trump
February 6th, 2020 11:41 AM
CNN’s newest White House Correspondent John Harwood seems to be trying to outdo Jim Acosta with his sanctimonious takes on President Trump. On CNN Newsroom Thursday Harwood defended Mitt Romney and Nancy Pelosi as people of “deep faith” who were acting out of their conviction of “right and wrong” to impeach the president, which was something that faithless and corrupt Trump had no understanding…

Marilyn Manson (Unsurprisingly) Advises 'The New Pope'
February 3rd, 2020 11:08 PM
Not satisfied with simply overtaking its predecessor season, HBO’s The New Pope now seems determined to stuff as many offensive materials in a single hour. Within the latest hour alone, we have Marilyn Manson advising the Pope, rebellious nuns asking for equal rights, homosexual priests sleeping around, and even more breasts. Never before has a show about the Church so desperately needed Jesus.
Actual vs. Counterfeit Intolerance
January 31st, 2020 7:03 PM
One of the most revealing things about the leftist mindset is the usual leftist's lack of self-awareness about his own intolerance, hatefulness and inclusiveness — unless you distort all those terms to whitewash the reality. I will never forget reading (and writing about) the unfortunate experience of Professor Janice Price, an education instructor at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.

TV Doctor Turns From Skeptic to Seeker on ‘New Amsterdam’
January 29th, 2020 12:19 AM
A series of “miraculous” events turned Dr. Max Goodwin from an annoyed skeptic to reluctant seeker in Tuesday night’s New Amsterdam episode, 14 Years, 2 Months, 8 Days. Throughout the episode, the crusading medical director is challenged by unexplainable miracles in the hospital, all happening while an interfaith prayer group called “Prayers for Healing” holds a prayer session in the hospital…

Priest Calls Prostitution a ‘Miracle’ in ‘The New Pope’
January 27th, 2020 10:52 PM
HBO’s The New Pope is still attempting to prove itself just as bad if not worse than its predecessor series The Young Pope. To do that, the show proceeds to show us how the cardinals and priests ruin lives and are generally terrible people. This time around, they push a woman into prostitution and cause a nun protest. There’s apparently nothing terrible that isn’t caused by someone religious.

NBC Sitcom Has Christian Choir Sing 'Ave Maria' in Gay Drag Club
January 23rd, 2020 11:58 PM
The NBC sitcom Perfect Harmony can be a charming show that often shows a positive, loving image of rural Christian churchgoers. While the show also goes off-key at times in its portrayal of rural Christians, it has steered clear of pushing contemporary sexual agendas.

McCain to Bloomberg: Your Party Excuses Its Own Bigotry
January 15th, 2020 2:36 PM
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg was the latest 2020 Democrat candidate to appear on Wednesday’s The View. The hosts gave him a warm welcome, fawning over his decision to self-fund his campaign and giggling over his strange tweets during last night’s debate. In fact, nearly all the criticism Bloomberg faced from the hosts was about not being liberal enough. Yet co-host Meghan McCain…
