BLM Student on Cable Drama: ‘The Media Is Biased Against Us’

Culture
March 1st, 2017 5:19 AM
On a very special Black Lives Matter episode of Freeform’s Switched at Birth, the show switches its focus from its main white and Latino characters to feature the stories of 3 black students at University of Missouri – Kansas City. It's about as preachy, melodramatic, and self-important as you'd expect, but it really strains credulity with an unintentionally comedic lecture on media bias.

The third episode of the second season of TBS’s The Detour, which aired February 28, contained bizarre racial tensions and was just downright disgusting. When main character Nate (Jason Jones) notes the abnormality of a friend, Judith, being 12 months pregnant, she spits back at him, “Straight, white, male doctors. What do they know?” Nate responds, “Same thing as gay, black, women doctors.”…

‘Walking Dead’ Actor on T-Shirt Controversy — ‘People Are Stupid’

February 28th, 2017 5:40 PM
Apparently, the well-known kids rhyme “Eeny meeny miny moe…” is offensive and racist.  At least that’s what department store chains in the U.K. are calling an official Walking Dead t-shirt featuring the children’s rhyme in conjunction with a barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat the notorious character Negan used to kill his victims.

White House Political Adviser Steve Bannon appeared at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday where he discussed the importance of American culture, among other things. Journalist on MSNBC: Trump's Continuing Obama's 'Fantastic' Economy

February 23rd, 2017 9:15 PM
On Tuesday morning's MSNBC Live, Louise Mensch, though she claims to be a conservative, put forth what I suspect will be the left's core economic argument if the economy improves under Donald Trump. That argument: The economy is "fantastic" already, and Trump will have had nothing to do with whatever economic improvements over what is already "fantastic" we might see.

This week ABC’s Blackish takes on the judicial system and how it relates to black people. If you think that’s a recipe for disaster…you have really good instincts. Perhaps you should spend the half-hour buying lottery tickets rather than watching another weekly lecture on the show - you’ll have a better chance of getting something good.

ABC reporter Cecilia Vega also demanded to know if Trump will show forgiveness to illegals.

Leaders During Recess – Liberal Groups Vow to Fight for Health Law.” The positive story was a far cry from the hostility that the Times greeted the original protests against Obamacare in 2009, and…
