It is Thursday, and on this edition of Morning Joe, barely a word uttered about January 6! The main highlight this time was the GDP numbers being released, and the show’s relief host Willie Geist did not seem too happy about what these numbers represent: America in a recession.

Four liberal outlets peered into their crystal balls and declared that the economy would show signs of growth, not shrinkage, just days and weeks ahead of the government’s second-quarter GDP report. 

Stephanie Ruhle is the host of The 11th Hour and MSNBC’s chief business correspondent and it is in that later role that she appeared on Thursday’s Jose Diaz-Balart Reports to discuss the state of the economy. For Ruhle, the story of inflation is not massive amounts of Biden spending, but that Biden is stuck in the middle of world events and that Republicans have no solution…

The liberal media machine is kicking into overdrive to convince the American people not to believe their lying eyes on the economy. Don’t worry if the second-quarter GDP numbers are atrocious, the narrative goes. It doesn’t necessarily mean we’re in a recession.

The New York Times economics columnist Paul Krugman went from admitting he completely botched his “transitory” inflation calls to gaslighting readers over the possibility of a recession.

President Joe Biden’s chief economic advisor claimed that the economy is “demonstrating resilience” and attempted to split hairs over the definition of a recession to protect his boss at the expense of the American people.

The White House attempted to gaslight Americans by casting confusion over the meaning of a recession. But did it take its cues from a major publication funded by liberal billionaire George Soros? 

While the White House is rewriting the definition of a recession, MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle used the Monday edition of The 11th Hour took the spin one step further and argued that the economy is actually on the upswing.

The New York Times Editorial Board used an illustration of charred and blackened toast to argue — what else? — that climate change could toast the planet. 

On This Week, ABC's Jonathan Karl prods Al Gore from the left, suggesting that Biden should declare a national "climate emergency," and criticizing Biden's moves to increase the availability of oil to decrease gas prices as "counterproductive in terms of the climate agenda."

Republican lawmakers are finally standing their ground and fighting back against woke bureaucrats who leverage government power to make traditional energy more expensive, according to Fox Business. 

One of the foremost opponents of woke Corporate America, Vivek Ramaswamy, joined conservative radio host Glenn Beck to smack down environmental, social and governance standards and emphasize the dangers they present to the American people.

The New York Times opinion section actually published a shocking project where eight of their columnists admitted they were wrong about either economics, tech, foreign affairs or politics. At the top of the list was none other than “transitory” inflation gaslighter Paul Krugman. 

In what seemed to be a mildly heated exchange on CNN’s Don Lemon Tonight with CNN commentator and former Ohio Governor John Kasich Monday night, Lemon demonstrated his aggressive ignorance of how economics works as he angrily argued that increasing the supply of oil wouldn’t bring down prices. “What you’re saying is not right,” he shouted at Kasich.
