As liberal playright and Vagina Monologues creator Eve Ensler appeared as a guest on Wednesday's Tavis Smiley show on PBS, she and host Smiley ruminated over why so many women voted to make Donald Trump President in spite of his history of harassing women, with the two drawing a parallel between women and blacks who are "self-loathing" or have "self-hatred."

Four very different films hit theaters over the past few weeks. Consider:  A sequel to one of the most talked about documentaries in recent memory, an artsy horror film featuring an Oscar-winning stunner, a B-movie disaster directed by a man who knowns that genre by heart, and a belated sequel to one of the most iconic science fiction films of all time.

New York Times movie critic Andy Webster made the new documentary Bill Nye: Science Guy a “Critics Pick,” and the online headline sold it hard: “‘Bill Nye: Science Guy,’ a Portrait of a Fighter for Facts.” A photo caption gushed: “Bill Nye has a new mission: challenging climate-change deniers.” With jail time, apparently, though the Times doesn’t get into that.

With storylines about gender-curious gerbils and killer clowns, American Horror Story: Cult has been pretty off-the-wall but, in the October 24 episode "Winter of Our Discontent," they managed to go off the deep end. The episode had everything, from a Nazi cop, to an incestual threesome, to a woman bleeding to death from an abortion.

Rolling Stone magazine contributing editor Jeff Goodell seems to have trouble with logic in addition to his disdain for coal power. In, “Scott Pruitt Can’t Stop the Death of Big Coal,” Goodell claimed that without the EPA’s Clean Power Plan — an Obama “accomplishment” — coal is still “a dead industry walking.”

CW’s Supergirl has now had almost five extra months to come to terms with the Trump Presidency. At this point, the show could either move on like the rest of the country or double down in disgrace. Unfortunately, the October 9 premiere “Girl of Steel” doubled down and doesn’t show any signs of letting up its liberal, anti-Trump slant.

The Magic School Bus is back in the new Netflix series The Magic School Bus Rides Again! Overall, it's still a nice, fun 13-episode series like we remember from when we were kids, but with some left turns. The number of Americans who see a connection between manmade climate change and hurricanes grew dramatically in the past 12 years. Given Al Gore, climate alarmists and the liberal media’s persistent climate alarmism throughout that time, it’s no wonder.

NBC’s Great News premiered its second season on Thursday, September 28, with an introduction of a new, main character, Diana St. Tropez (Tina Fey), head of the fictitious news program “The Breakdown” that the show centers around. The episode, titled “Boardroom Bitch,” also introduced a lot of politics along with Fey’s new character.
