Mocking Millennials perfectly, a student tells Brian that they have gathered to demand the university president be fired. His offense? He didn’t overreact when the word “weird” was…

November 9th, 2017 10:38 AM
File this under ideas that will probably not end well..... Facebook wants you to help them fight revenge porn. How? By sending them a nude picture of yourself. I kid you not. The downside is way too obvious, in fact just about inevitable but they still want to go ahead with this program  as was explained in Facebook tests fighting revenge porn by asking users to file nude photos first:

It is the sixth episode of CBS’s SEAL Team and the show is still trying to figure out what it wants to be. Are they going to question if we’re the good guys or are they going to show us as the good guys, because this back and forth isn’t working. In Wednesday night’s episode "The Spinning Wheel," they come right out of the gate playing the race card … then fold.

On the anniversary of President Trump’s election, Comedy Central's South Park not-so-subtly suggests Trump voters were wrong. Wednesday night’s episode, titled “Doubling Down,” has two parallel storylines – a girl who refuses to break up with a boyfriend who treats her horribly, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Vice-President Mike Pence, and House Speaker Paul Ryan dealing with a sex-…

In a particularly snotty Nov. 7 New Republic article, Sarah Jones tells readers “Why the Right Is Obsessed With the Sutherland Springs Shooter’s Atheism.” Guns, she posits, are a new civic religion, and shooting victims are martyrs of the faith. Therefore, the shooter’s atheism is a big deal.

Showtime's 'SMILF' is Crude Take on Motherhood, Mocks Prayer

Culture

I had very low expectations of SMILF, and the November 5 premiere “A Box of Dunkies and Two Squirts of Maple Syrup” lived down to every one of them. In only 30 minutes, the show fit in more crass content than most shows do in years on the air. Since there was no real theme to said content, aside from "gratuitous,"  I think it's best to introduce you to this show simply by walking you through the…

Cultural Appropriation an Intergalactic Issue on 'The Orville'

October 26th, 2017 11:26 PM
Cultural appropriation hysteria is an interplanetary phenomenon, in Fox’s The Orville. On Thursday’s episode, “Majority Rule,” Alara, an alien crewmember of the Orville, attempts to blend in on a new planet by covering her alien head markings with a random hat she finds. Unfortunately for her, the hat she puts on belongs to the (fabricated) Kelvic culture. A Kelvic man demands she remove the hat…

Not wanting to be outdone by its fellow DC program Supergirl, CW’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has apparently decided to jump on the political train by introducing a new character to their cast: a Muslim hactivist from a dystopian future. If you think that’s a load of political posturing, then you would be right.

'Designated Survivor' Champions Liberal Views on Guns, Racism, Trump

Wednesday’s episode of ABC’s Designated Survivor was inspired by last episode’s hour of liberal propaganda and followed suit, jam-packing itself with liberal politics. Tonight’s episode, “Equilibrium,” touched on gun control, racism, and border relations. American truckers form a blockade on the Mexican-American border to protest trade negotiations between the two countries. Cue the caricaturized…

October 17th, 2017 5:14 PM
On Tuesday’s Morning Joe, the panel brought Hollywood director Rob Reiner on to promote his upcoming film LBJ. The outspoken left-winger was very comfortable going into attack mode on President Trump when prompted, but upon being asked about the allegations of rape and sexual assault against Harvey Weinstein, Reiner was extremely reluctant to address the issue at length.
