Lawyer for Covington Student Will Sue CNN, More Than $250 Million

In a pre-recorded interview with radio host Mark Levin for Fox News that will air during Sunday’s Life, Liberty & Levin, lawyer Lin Wood, who represents smeared Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann, revealed that they planned to sue CNN for more than $250 million in a defamation suit in the coming days.

As promised on Monday afternoon, Covington student Nicholas Sandmann attorneys Lin Wood and Todd McMurty ran The Washington Post through the wood chipper in a new statement refusing to accept The Post’s cowardly-timed Friday night Editor’s Note attempting to cover itself for the damage done to Sandmann as part of the January 18 incident on the National Mall.

It’s safe to say that this might have been too little, too late, folks. On Friday night, the “Democracy Dies in Darkness” newspaper The Washington Post published an “editor’s note” attempting to save face following their embarrassing behavior for the last month and a half smearing the Covington students and being hit on February 19 with a lawsuit by student Nicholas Sandmann.
