On her 12:00 p.m. ET hour on Friday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell derisively dismissed the Justice Department’s criminal investigation into the origins of the Russia probe as a politically motivated inquiry that was “elevating what had been widely denounced as a conspiracy theory.”

The China/NBA debacle rolls on, this time involving a verbal spat between Vice President Mike Pence and NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley. The “Round Mound of Rebound” is touchy over criticism that his former league won’t risk money to call out the human rights abuses of the Chinese communist government, becoming instead the “Round Mound of ‘Shut the Hell Up.’”

On Friday, all three network morning shows rushed to dismiss the newly revealed criminal investigation into the origins of the Russia probe as nothing more than “political revenge” against President Trump’s “enemies.” Hosts and correspondents dutifully stuck to Democratic Party talking points trashing the inquiry, coming just shy of labeling it a “witch hunt.”

To show their frustration with the shady way House Democrats were conducting their partisan impeachment crusade, Senator Lindsey Graham (SC) led 41 other Republican Senators in writing a resolution demanding transparency and fairness. But ABC and NBC ignored and minimized their efforts while claiming congressional Republicans were actually angry with President Trump.

On Thursday's New Day, CNN analysts Jeffrey Toobin and Bianna Golodryga went negative on Republican members of Congress who decided to protest the House Democrats' secluded investigation of President Donald Trump over the Ukraine issue. Legal analyst Toobin declared that they looked like "such jerks," and global affairs analyst Golodryga dismissed House Republicans as a "bunch of white men."

During a contentious interview on MSNBC Thursday morning, Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz defended the move by House Republicans to demand transparency in the impeachment inquiry and hammered the liberal media for using “selective leaks” from Democrats to declare President Trump guilty without ever having seen public testimony from witnesses.

As the media has a conniption over the “mob” of House Republicans “storming” a closed-door impeachment inquiry hearing yesterday, the hosts of The View played right into the hysteria on Thursday’s show. Co-host Sunny Hostin even suggested that the Republicans, who were demanding transparency about the impeachment inquiry, be criminally investigated for breaking the law.

On today's Morning Joe, Deutsch managed to flout virtually every "ism" taboo imaginable in criticizing the Republican congressmen who yesterday stormed Adam Schiff's closed-door impeachment inquiry. Calling for transparency in the impeachment investigation of President Trump, a number of House Republicans stormed the conference room being used for the hearing and staged an old-fashion sit-in. In an attempt to force House Democrats to hold public hearings for their impeachment investigation, Republican members staged a sit-in in the hearing room and delayed the process for five hours. But the “journalists” in the liberal media were appalled by the idea of transparency for Democrats. ABC, CBS, and NBC attacked and smeared the GOP lawmakers during their Wednesday evening newscasts.

Kudos to the Huffington Post for trying to find some common ground between the LGBTQ community and Christians. And by finding common ground, we mean adopting a scorched earth/take-no-prisoners tactic in its war against those with different points of view.
