She even wondered in there was a “contingency plan” in place for 2024 in case “there is another violent insurrection with millions of people.”

On Sunday, CNN’s so-called “Reliable Sources” rang in 2022 with some New Year resolutions for the media (I guess that makes them News Year resolutions) at the end of the show. But there was only one resolution they wanted to stick to and it was to gaslight their audiences by making everything into a threat to democracy.

On Sunday, The Blaze’s Weekend Editor Chris Enloe reported that “The Dallas Morning News was sharply criticized after amplifying a tabloid-like story about the 13-year-old daughter of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), which seemingly attempted to pit the young teenager against her father by highlighting differences in political opinion.”

One of the most disturbing concepts in politics is the media elite providing the “first draft of history.” You can test-drive this with a look at ABC’s two-hour year-end special on December 27. It was mostly about celebrities and athletes and some natural disasters. But when President Biden came up, ABC was energetically playing defense.

As was reported here on Wednesday afternoon, ABC, NBC, and CBS had nothing but gushing praise for former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. This was also true on Wednesday evening as the liberal networks drooled all over Reid and his legacy as the longtime leader of the Democratic Party in the U.S. Senate. However, NBC Nightly News did change their tune slightly from this morning.
