The Washington Post on Tuesday made it pretty clear: The paper isn’t a big fan of conservative Alabama. Writer Karen Heller penned a 2500 word essay citing all the people embarrassed by the state. The story somehow connected Alabama’s horrific examples of lynching with the newly-passed pro-life legislation.

So much for "inclusion." Vogue has posted a new interview with five female presidential candidates by New York Times reporter/feminist Amy Chozick. Marianne Williamson is missing -- Chozick didn't interview her, and she wasn't at the Annie Liebovitz photo shoot. Even the headline wasn't inclusive: "Madam President? Once again, only ABC bothered covering the latest details on the potentially shady financial dealings of Joe Biden’s youngest son, Hunter. CBS and NBC on Monday night and Tuesday morning skipped the implications for the Democratic front-runner and the embarrassing details about the younger Biden’s activities. 

Did Tom Steyer watch the same Democratic debates everyone else did? If so, the left-wing billionaire is putting lipstick on that big, loud, unruly pig. Steyer tweeted, “The #DemDebate shows that we can strive for better than Donald Trump and his enablers. We must restore dignity and honor to the presidency––not just by winning in 2020, but by impeaching @realdonaldtrump.”

On Monday morning's MSNBC Live, Commentary associate editor Noah Rothman criticized Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris for wanting to bring back busing and said she was playing a dangerous political game in doing so. Rothman's arguments led to a heated argument with Princeton Professor Eddie Glaude Jr. that featured constant interruptions.

On Friday night’s The Last Word, host Lawrence O’Donnell was joined by MSNBC contributor and former Obama official, Wendy Sherman to, not surprisingly criticize the President. While filling in for Stephanie Ruhle during MSNBC’s 9:00 a.m. ET hour on Monday, anchor Chris Jansing promoted a book club created by Iowa Democrats in which members pledged to read campaign memoirs written by 16 of the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates before the Iowa caucuses in February. Jansing touted how the “relaxed, cerebral idea” was “catching on big.”

Fox Business anchor Dagen McDowell happily announced that the U.S. entered a record-setting 10 years of economic expansion July 1. “You have more than 70 percent of people think the economy is good if not great,” she declared. She also mentioned how 70 percent of Americans “like their private health insurance from their employer,” and wondered what “advice” Democrats would use to campaign against…

CNN devoted an hour on Sunday night to a documentary exploring the rise of white supremacists  in America and around the world. Unsurprisingly, the network tied Donald Trump to these bigots, blaming the “white supremacist hero” for “jumping on” the bandwagon of hatred. As video of Trump appeared on screen, the journalist blamed, “And it’s spreading across the world.... A fire fed by politics.”  

On Joy Reid's MSNBC show, regular guest Elie Mystal says the 5-12% of African-Americans who don't support Democrats have "had their vote colonized by the Republicans, or by Russia." He adds, "you can't free everybody."
