Why would Republican appear on the "mainstream" Sunday shows? You could wonder after Sen. Ron Johnson was disgusted by moderator Chuck Todd's "very biased opening" segment on Meet the Press, and Todd openly fought with him and wouldn't let him finish a point as Johnson tried to tell Todd what he should ask John Brennan later in the show. After speaking with two of President Trump’s Republican 2020 challengers (former Congressman Joe Walsh and former South Carolina governor Mark Sanford) on CNN’s State of the Union, host Jake Tapper went to one of Trump’s Democratic 2020 challengers, Senator Amy Klobuchar. His goal was to see if the Senator would commit to convicting Trump if the House voted to impeach the President.

“I would be acting as a juror,” Republican Senator Susan Collins (ME) explained to the press as to why she would not be prejudging President Trump ahead of a possible Senate impeachment trial. But that wasn’t a good enough reason, according to the way the folks on ABC’s Good Morning America were huffing on Sunday.

During her 10:00 a.m. ET hour show on Friday, MSNBC anchor Hallie Jackson informed viewers that the Joe Biden’s presidential campaign was “furious” that the “media is even covering” any allegations of corruption against his son Hunter. The View hosts were desperate to make the Joe/Hunter Biden Ukraine controversy go away on Thursday’s show. So much so, that Meghan McCain begged Biden to come out publicly and “explain it away.” On the other hand, her co-host Joy Behar, like the media, didn’t want to touch the topic, to avoid implicating Biden. She complained it was “too complicated.”

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow came to The View midway through Thursday’s show to discuss the impeachment inquiry into President Trump, and her new book. During her time there, she defended Adam Schiff’s lies, suggested Vice President Pence would be impeached too, and defended MSNBC as a nonpartisan news network.

Chelsea and Hillary Clinton were warmly welcomed on The View Wednesday to plug their new book, but spent nearly the entire interview talking about President Trump’s impeachment, and the 2016 election, instead. Throwing out any pretense of impartiality, the hosts of course began the show urging President Trump’s 2016 rival, to explain why he needs to be impeached.

During a laughable report on Wednesday’s Today show about corruption concerns swirling around Joe Biden and his son Hunter, NBC News White House correspondent Hallie Jackson cited Biden spokespersons seven different times to supposedly fact check and unsurprisingly dismiss any accusations of wrongdoing.
