Lena Dunham takes every chance she gets to display her support for abortion rights. At Monday’s Met Gala, an annual fundraising event that attracts the brightest stars in Hollywood, Dunham sported a red and black one-shouldered ensemble. A silver Planned Parenthood pin, tucked beneath a ruffle, completed the look.  

Many in the media race to label conservatives fighting for the unborn as “extreme.” But when it comes time to report on liberals pushing for taxpayer-funded abortion or Democrat-mandated abortion support, the media refrain from name-calling and, oftentimes, from covering the story at all.

In a society where preborn children are treated as disposable property, and disregarded in the name of cold, sterile, euphemisms such as “reproductive rights” and “choice,” it’s rare to find a mother who actually does the opposite of putting herself above her child.

Celebrating life and protecting the “little guy” should be a bipartisan goal, according to one senator. Speaking at Students for Life of America #SockIt2PP rally Wednesday, Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE)  affirmed the human dignity of the unborn as Congress considers defunding Planned Parenthood in debates over the upcoming federal budget.

Planned Parenthood is big news today, as the GOP proposes defunding America’s largest abortion provider. The “war on women’s healthcare” is the “war” on Planned Parenthood, according to one Oscar-nominated actress. Never mind the health of unborn women destroyed in the womb. Nor the women abused by ISIS. Nor even the American girls reportedly tortured by genital mutilation.

An April 10 Rolling Stone article featured an interview with Dr. Willie Parker, an abortionist who identifies as a Christian. Parker’s recently released book is titled “Life’s Work: A Moral Argument for Choice” and was ghostwritten by Lisa Miller according to NYMag.com.  

As most readers may know by now, one of the biggest Trump-haters in Hollywood is television producer Shonda Rhimes, a fanatical progressive who has created the highly successful prime time soap operas Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal for ABC. Rhimes is now admitting she is in a “trauma” as a result of her candidate in Hillary Clinton, losing the 2016 presidential election.
