CBS Fears for Future of Abortion Clinic that Did Illegal Operation

During her Wednesday report on CBS Evening News, correspondent Meg Oliver admitted a state investigation found that the Planned Parenthood facility in St. Louis, Missouri performed an abortion that violated state law. The clinic also vowed to break even more of the state’s laws. But she and the network still feared for the future of the facility, which could be shut down on Friday.

It’s a predictable gaggle of reliable lefties and reads more like a Wanted poster for the gang that murdered comedy. The first big-name entry was Sacha Baron Cohen of Borat fame. Though since the 2006 blockbuster hit, the liberal Cohen has struggled to reclaim his “glory” days.

Illinois Passes Abortion Law More Radical Than New York’s, Nets Ignore

On Wednesday, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed into law a new abortion bill that is being called more radical than New York’s law that was passed in January. So far none of the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) have reported on the Illinois law that – among other things – does away with that state’s ban on partial birth abortions.

This week it was announced that about $250,000 of the proceeds from Grande’s June 8 concert in Atlanta will go to Planned Parenthood, presumably in response to the state’s new pro-life heartbeat bill.
