With all the rallies, protests and marches lately, we’ve been hearing a lot about how unfair society is towards women. CBS’s Life in Pieces hilariously spoofs this agenda when a woman thinks her male mechanic is giving her the runaround.

In “A Day Without a Woman” coverage, the liberal media said more by what they didn’t report than by what they did report. On Wednesday, feminist activists organized a nationwide strike to push liberal policy and “highlight the economic power” of women. Following the event, the broadcast networks praised “A Day Without a Woman” for standing up for “women’s rights.” But not once did ABC, CBS or NBC…

Disney chief Bob Iger says there’s no bias at ESPN and ABC News is “extremely fair,” and apparently says it with a straight face. He may even believe it. As the head of a company that believes it appropriate for characters in children’s movies to “explore their sexuality,” Iger’s bound to have a pretty warped perception of things.

For the second time this season, President Kirkman on ABC’s Designated Survivor has been compared to President Ronald Reagan. On Wednesday's episode, "Warriors," Kirkman is recovering from a sniper assassination attempt. After learning both the country and stock market are in a panic, he is determined to restore their confidence and does so by waving to the public from his hospital room window.

The left’s anti-Trump marches won’t stop at the end of March. Following the success of January 21’s Women’s March, the organizers planned March 8’s “Day Without a Woman.” Falling intentionally on International Women’s Day, the day included strikes, abstinence from social media use and spending, and a protest outside of the White House. 

It is impossible to feel lukewarm about Lena Dunham. Like Hillary Clinton, the Girls actress and Lenny Letter co-founder inspires either deep revulsion or fawning acclaim. And that rift even extends to the liberal media world. 

Tinsel Town is taking the “Day Without a Woman” quite seriously. According to a Hollywood Reporter report, many entertainment companies have lent support to the movement by holding events, focusing content on women and encouraging female staffers to take the day off. Meanwhile, celebrities have been tweeting in solidarity.
