At their best, sports represent a place where Americans can come together – no matter their differences – to root for their team. Despite the best efforts of liberals at ESPN and other sports media outlets, sports largely defy politics. It’s what makes them special. Important. But one professional women’s basketball team (and, of course, its media fans) couldn’t care less about being divisive.

ABC and NBC can’t seem to accept the consequences of their mistakes. On Saturday morning, MRC Associate Culture Editor Katie Yoder appeared on Fox & Friends: Weekend to discuss the networks’ “media double standard” while covering the case of Charlie Gard. Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is extremely biased against Donald Trump and he attempted to get guest Peyton Manning to denigrate the Republican president. Unsuccessfully. He said he had heard the future Hall of Fame quarterback had played golf with the president and he wanted badly to extract red meat from Manning.

By taking his family to the White House to visit the president, pro golfer John Daly just opened the door for more hacks at the president the left-stream media love to hate. TBS’s Wrecked is comical parody of the show Lost, known for its outlandish storylines and it’s one of my favorite shows on television right now. But Tuesday, July 11’s episode, “Tony Pepperoni,” went too far by making light of a very serious topic - abortion.
