The good news is that CW’s Roswell, New Mexico seems to have moved on from talking about abortion. The bad news is that now it seems comfortable showing alien threesomes. Somehow, this was not the step I was hoping this sci-fi series would take.

Barack and Michelle Obama currently have a $50 million Netflix contract which they acquired with the help of a campaign contributor. Obama's former national security advisor, Susan Rice, is on Netflix's Board of Directors. The Obama's have parlayed their post-presidential into a very lucrative industry. The New York Post has even called Netflix "a propaganda machine for the Obamas."

Unfortunately, it wasn’t sordid enough for The CW’s Dynasty to include a scene with a priest and a parishioner kissing last week. This week’s episode, airing April 17, includes the two consummating their relationship.

The only thing less fun than being stuck in shutdown is being stuck in shutdown with shows like The Blacklist. The latest episode of the NBC drama not only lectures us about gun issues but does so through the mouths of criminals. The One Day at a Time reboot now airing on POP has been less obnoxious than its previous seasons on Netflix. It takes something pretty wild to make a viewer think the CW dramatic soap opera Dynasty has gone beyond the pale, given the standard storylines written for the show. This week though, it succeeded.
