Fox’s Family Guy can be pretty even-handed when it comes to its political humor at times, but when it swings left, it swings moronically to the left. The latest episode proves that with a visit from Russian president Vladimir Putin where the show obediently parrots the rigged election narrative.

There is a bit of fall-out from last week’s show that comes back this week’s episode of Fox’s Star. The November 15 episode titled “Faking It” includes the Midtown record label digging out of bad publicity when a hashtag goes viral.

Hulu’s I Love You America with Sarah Silverman has been just one insult after another for conservative viewers. With the crass humor and not-so-subtle slams against President Trump, it’s hard to believe this was supposed to be a program about connecting people. In fact, this latest show might encourage more animosity between political sides.

I think by now there is pretty much no one on the left side of the political spectrum who takes to heart Michelle Obama’s words “When they go low, we go high.” If there is anything the recent episode of USA’s Mr. Robot taught me, it is that fact alone. That is, unless someone can enlighten me how calling the sitting president a “buffoon” is now the high road. I’ll be waiting.

TNT’s Major Crimes continued its all-out assault on the Catholic Church and priests in its Tuesday, November 24 episode, “Sanctuary City: Part 3.” They also kept up with their caricature of deranged, gun-toting, right-wing white males who oppose illegal immigration to the point of wanting illegals dead, and, for good measure, took a quick jab at homeschooling, too.

The finale of American Horror Story: Cult aired on November 15. The episode "Great Again" focused on the cultish nature of politics and the way in which people can come to worship the symbols of American freedom without thinking about what they really mean. USA’s Damnation premiered last week with the completely unoriginal message of how communism is a good idea (spoiler alert: it isn’t). This time around, we only continue the downward spiral of slamming capitalism for a wide audience. As an added bonus, we gain another reminder of how rich people are terrible.

Blackish is always far too willing to put social commentary ahead of actual entertainment, and the November 14 episode "Please Don't Feed the Animals" is no exception. This week's social justice topic that took the place of comedy? Issues of race and incarceration. 

Anybody remember Fox’s The Mick? The terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad series that promotes transgendered children, threesomes for 13-year-old boys, and preaches the goodness of birth control and Planned Parenthood? If you’ve been avoiding the second season, I salute you since the show has found one more thing to sexualize besides teens and children: the elderly.

The November 10 episode of Netflix’s Chelsea is an unusual one. Titled “Making a Big Bang,” for once anti-Republican political discourses are not the goal of every single segment. The show is almost bearable. Then the last two segments happen.
