Thursday's front page at The New York Times featured a story headlined "Biden, Wearied and Stinging, Prepares to Exit." White House reporters Peter Baker and Zolan Kanno-Youngs were blunt in the third paragraph about Biden's twilight. "Time is catching up with Mr. Biden....it is hard to imagine that he seriously thought he could do the world’s most stressful job for another four years…

On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough repeatedly cites the election results in Wisconsin to downplay the scope of Trump's win.  He doesn't mention that Trump flipped  the state after having lost it in 2020. Scarborough also buries the fact that the electorate shifted right in all 50 states, and in 89% of counties.

Joe Scarborough is frustrated by the Democrats having lost Ohio to the Republicans, despite low household income in Ohio, and yet voters supporting a Republican government "of, by, and for" billionaires.  If you just read the transcript, you might have thought it was Bernie Sanders, the socialist senator from Vermont, not Scarborough.

On Saturday's edition of MSNBC's The Weekend, the three co-hosts and two guests all expressed support for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to supplant Gerry Connolly as the ranking minority member on the House Oversight Committee. Julian Castro hailed AOC's "fighting spirit." Michael Steele and Symone Sanders took some not-so-subtle shots at Nancy Pelosi for her support of Connolly. 

One question emerging from the presidential election exit polls is the disconnect between Black men and women and Hispanic men and women. Donald Trump received support from 21% of Black men and 7% of Black women, a disparity of 14 points. He got support from 54% of Hispanic men and 39% of Hispanic women, a disparity of 15 points. One can never expect MSNBC's Joy Reid to be the level-headed voice of reason, but even by her standards, her Wednesday edition of The ReidOut was off the charts crazy. According to Reid, Tennessee’s law, currently being challenged at the Supreme Court, that forbids so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors is part of a Nazi-like tradition of targeting transgender people.

As a taxpayer-funded TV network, PBS should not be favoring one side over the other. But MRC analysts studying the use of labels over 18 months on the PBS News Hour found they were 27 times more likely to identify an "extreme" on the right than they would on the left. There were 162 extreme-right labels and only six extreme-left descriptions. 

President Joe Biden’s sudden and unexpected (by some) issuance of a broad pardon to his son Hunter continues to ripple throughout the political world. The Regime Media that so faithfully served Biden are now dutifully carrying his water in an attempt to dilute the legacy fallout that Biden will invariably suffer as a result.

The PBS News Hour is pumping up the fear of Trump II, throwing out scary words like “fascist” to describe the incoming Trump administration, the latest example brought to you Wednesday evening by PBS’s most biased reporter Laura Barron-Lopez, and Yale University leftist professor Jason Stanley, who has been calling Trump a fascist without results for six years.
