Bette Midler has an interesting standard for when it is ok to disrespect the dead and who is allowed to do it. Monday night Midler posted a tweet equating Rush Limbaugh with Ku Klux Klan members. Just 24 hours earlier she complained that Donald Trump Jr.’s video content was some subtle campaign effort to steal Limbaugh’s radio slot. 

Even a dire cancer update isn’t enough for the liberal Washington Post to lay off trashing Rush Limbaugh. The paper on Wednesday highlighted hateful left-wing attacks on the “bigoted” “trash bin.” Writer Marisa Iati also regurgitated old controversies from “one of the most polarizing figures in radio.” 

Sunday’s New York Times tried to put “law and order conservatives,” not liberal riot supporters, on the defensive in the violent aftermath of the unjust death under police custody of George Floyd in Minneapolis: “Floyd Case Presents Ideological Challenge for Law-and-Order Conservatives.” The text box: “Even Limbaugh and Pirro can’t defend an officer’s actions.”

For anyone who listens regularly to Rush Limbaugh, they are familiar with his thoughts on the far-left (the "deranged left" as he puts it) redefining America as a racist country founded in racism and also his thoughts on the increasing problems with a college education.
