The left-wingers at NBC's Saturday Night Live can't seem to start their shows without an anti-Trump skit, and this time, it started out with a Jesus Christ vs. the money-changers theme....until their Fake Trump James Austin Johnson showed up to unload a pile of comedy bits about how terrible the economy is going. 

There’s a well-understood comedy axiom that says if you have to explain why something is funny, then it isn’t, but NBC's Saturday Night Live fails to understand this because, in response to Donald Trump’s victory, the cast came together for a cringe-inducing performance where they pretended to support him in an attempt to stay off an enemies list. 

During its five shows during the fall presidential campaign from September 28 through November 2, a Media Research Center study found that NBC’s Saturday Night Live Weekend Update anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che told a total of 38 jokes about Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Of these, 34, or 89 percent, were about Trump.

During the most recent episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, new cast member Emil Wakim claimed that “the real American dream” is to be the non-white immigrant who eventually becomes a Republican and says to others, “No, sorry, sorry, white guys only.” Later in his address, Wakim would also attack critics of people like Gays for Gaza, telling them that “If you want them to be gay, just stop…

Last week, NBC’s Saturday Night Live united the left and right in outrage when they targeted former Navy SEAL and now Congressman-elect Dan Crenshaw for ridicule regarding his missing right eye, which he lost in an IED blast. But during this weekend’s show, they invited Crenshaw on to bury the hatchet and to deliver a very important Veterans Day message.
