The British-born CNN anchor named Piers Morgan took another swipe at America Wednesday.
Discussing the options President Obama has to enact stricter gun laws, Morgan said the Supreme Court has been "dangerous" concerning this issue (video follows with transcript and commentary):
PIERS MORGAN, HOST: Here’s the problem: then it comes down to the Supreme Court, Jeffrey, isn’t it, because they are the ultimate arbiters I guess of revisiting the constitution, and as we saw in 2008, actually in my view, they have been dangerous in the way that they’ve done this.
JEFFREY TOOBIN, CNN LEGAL ANALYST: Well, they have been what they have always been which is political. They reflect the presidents who appoint them. George W. Bush, by appointing John Roberts and Samuel Alito, replacing other less conservative justices, give gun owners more power. That’s why elections matter.
And this man wonders why there's a petition at the White House website to have him deported.
