The Sunday surprise on CNN was State of the Union host Jake Tapper shaming Sen. Dick Durbin on how the Democrats haven't forced out Sen. Dianne Feinstein so they can get liberal judges confirmed. Tapper told Durbin the Democrats were too polite with allowing Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to remain in office, and "How did that work out for you? How did that work out for Roe vs. Wade!?"
Sister Toldjah of RedState reported this contentious exchange and explains how Tapper sounded hyperpartisan and Durbin seemed more reasonable, a role reversal. Durbin (first elected to the Senate in 1996) was being collegial to his friend Feinstein (first elected to the Senate in 1992). He doesn't want anyone telling him he can't run again after he turns 80 in 2024.
We also discuss the Democrat/media crusade against Justice Clarence Thomas, USA Today worrying about the unpopularity of Kamala Harris, and CNN awarding a "town hall" event to Donald Trump with New Hampshire voters.
