Democracy or demagoguery? YouTube censored a Pennsylvania Republican gubernatorial debate hosted by a pro-family institute, then reinstated the video, claiming it had “mistakenly” removed the event video.

Twitter, Facebook and YouTube allow seven dictators, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, unfettered access to post on their platforms, influencing approximately 50 million followers as of March 28. Meanwhile, former leader of the free world President Donald Trump is still banned.

The hosts routinely say whatever they want and maintain a “full send” mindset.

YouTube removed an interview with former President Donald Trump for election “misinformation.” Fortune magazine reported on Friday that Trump sat down with the NELK channel to discuss golf, Ukraine, and the 2020 election.

It’s Episode 28 of CensorTrack with TR. This week we talked about how YouTube censored The Hill for reporting on the news, and censored Media Research Center for posting about the shift of national COVID-19 conversation.

The YouTube oligarchs on Mount Censorlympus targeted one of its popular users An0maly for daring to post a clip of comments on masking by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R). The video that sent the YouTube censors off showed DeSantis telling Middleton High School students at the University of South Florida: “You do not have to wear those masks.”

DirecTV dropped Russian propaganda outlet RT America on Tuesday as a belated response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. DirecTV absurdly refused to renew One America News Network earlier this year while RT’s programming was only suspended after Russia invaded Ukraine.

Russian state-affiliated accounts on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube are still allowed to influence their approximately 38.7 million followers even as Russia attacks Ukraine.

It’s Episode 25 of CensorTrack with TR. This week we’re talking about a study that MRC’s Free Speech America team recently conducted. Results showed that from March 2020 to Feb. 2022, Big Tech censored more than 808 COVID-19-related posts.

Big Tech speech restrictions turned COVID-19 into the most pro-censorship environment in the U.S. at least since World War II. Media Research Center has found more than 800 examples of bans, deleted content, and other speech restrictions related to the virus, as well as to resultant vaccines masking and government policies.

The Heritage Foundation released a damning report blasting censorship and showing that it has jumped fully into the fight against Silicon Valley speech controls.
