Entertainment media continue to wage war on President Donald Trump and conservatives, with major networks, cable TV, and streaming services hurling insults and ignorant opinions at every opportunity. In February alone, at least 40 separate entertainment programs attacked conservative values and/or President Donald Trump while promoting a hardcore progressive agenda.  

On The View Tuesday co-host Sunny Hostin was the only one at the table who disagreed with Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, after she dismissed calls within her own party to impeach President Trump, saying he “wasn’t worth it.” Hostin disagreed, gushing that it was Democrats’ “job” and duty to start impeachment proceedings in the House, even if it didn’t go anywhere in the Senate.

The hosts of The View Friday were unanimously angry about ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s 47-month-long sentencing by a judge Thursday, calling it “immoral” “shameful” and wishing that he’d “rot in jail for the rest of his life.” Host Joy Behar even shared her own conspiracy theories that the judge was a Trump supporter and wondered if Mitch McConnell had something to do with it.

Disney CEO Bob Iger on Thursday was confronted about media hypocrisy when it comes to blackface. Two of ABC’s hosts, Jimmy Kimmel and Joy Behar, have both used blackface in the past. Yet, Iger insisted that “context” must be considered for these cases. (ABC, as a reminder, is owned by Disney.)

Several Democrats running in 2020 for president have visited ABC’s The View for largely friendly interviews that still somehow manage to be more even-handed than what they experience on actual news programs. Disgraced former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe made the media rounds Tuesday promoting his new book, which is full of salacious claims and stopped by The View for a lengthy discussion about it. However, only co-hosts Meghan McCain and Abby Huntsman called into question McCabe’s stories, even though he was fired from the FBI for lying to federal investigators.

Tuesday on The View, the hosts addressed the updates to the Jussie Smollett case that suggests there is evidence he fabricated his entire story of being assaulted by two Trump supporters. The co-hosts lamented the damage this would do for actual victims of hate crimes, and Sunny Hostin even admitted that she was embarrassed for believing Smollett and coming out in support for him, initially.
