Former Olympian and transgender activist Caitlyn Jenner was on The View Wednesday to talk about their new book and how they felt about Donald Trump. While criticizing Trump’s record on transgender issues, Jenner said they still identified as a conservative for issues like national security. Jenner’s answer prompted one host to excitedly ask Jenner to run for political office.

There could not be a better example of liberal media double standards than the kerfuffle over former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin posing in front of Hillary Clinton’s White House portrait (as First Lady) with rock stars Kid Rock and Ted Nugent. The ladies of The View had their knickers in a knot.

It must be a requirement on ABC’s The View that the hosts create scandals out of nonsense just to have something to whine about. As proof, Friday’s show began with host Joy Behar complaining about what she called the “saddest day in the history of the White House,” (and surprisingly she didn’t say it was the day Donald Trump was elected!)

The hosts at The View couldn’t have been more thrilled with the news that Fox News ousted their longtime primetime personality Bill O’Reilly after multiple accusations of sexual abuse from female staffers and anchors. The Evancho siblings have earned lots of news coverage this year. Sixteen-year-old Jackie was criticized by the LGBT community for singing the national anthem at Donald Trump’s inauguration, largely because her older sibling Juliet is transgender. 

Susan Sarandon is a big-time Bernie fan. But since Donald Trump’s win, Hillary Clinton supporters have harassed the actress so much that she's had to change her phone number. So much for liberal tolerance. On April 12, Sarandon joined the ladies of The View to discuss her role as Hollywood legend Bette Davis in FX’s Feud. Friday morning on The View, the show started off with a fiery exchange over the U.S. missile strike in Syria last night. Tuesday on The View, host Whoopi Goldberg was adamant that schools needed to provide free birth control to teenagers without parental consent, because they “don’t teach sex education at school.” Whoopi first made this strange allegation on a February 2 show, when she said that a school shouldn’t have to notify parents before putting condoms in the boys' and girls' bathrooms.
