The morning after President Trump gave the State of the Union address, the hosts of The View were practically bowing down to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for dramatically tearing the speech in two. Co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin were enthusiastic about the disrespectful display, lauding Pelosi “masterfully” “playing hardball” with Republican “fascists and criminals.”

On his Sunday show State of the Union, CNN anchor Jake Tapper tapdanced on the Biden line again, that harrumph, of course, there's "NO evidence anybody did anything illegal regarding the Bidens and Ukraine." The obvious retort is "including President Trump. But they impeached him anyway."

The journalists at CNN and NBC this weekend scoffed at the idea that one would blame the perpetrator of a mass shooting instead of the gun itself. First, NBC dismissed this simply as a talking point of “gun control opponents.” Then, CNN mocked the idea of personal responsibility, comparing guns to the opioid crisis. 

In the aftermath of the mass shooting at a Wal-Mart in El Paso, a number of news shows on ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and PBS have allowed guests to misleadingly cite gun-friendly Texas's open carry and concealed carry laws to give the impression that El Paso Wal-Mart customers must have been well-armed when they were attacked, thus undermining arguments in favor of allowing customers to bring guns…

There was more shoddy journalism form CNN talking head Jake Tapper during Sunday’s State of the Union as he repeatedly set up his Democratic guests to cast blame on President Trump for two mass shootings on Saturday. He also insinuated the President was a “racist” and “white nationalist” in the exact same vein as the shooter in El Paso, Texas.

Vice President Mike Pence appeared on State of the Union Sunday, where host Jake Tapper obsessed over climate change. Channeling his inner Al Gore, Tapper repeatedly used the alarmist and emotionally charged phrase “climate emergency” as he attempted to expose the Vice President as what Joy Behar would call a “climate change denier” multiple times.

2020 Democrat Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) probably didn’t expect to actually have to defend his own policies when he appeared on CNN Sunday, but that’s exactly what did happen.
