Strange. Suddenly Saturday Night Live doesn’t care about skewering American presidents anymore. The sketch series, whose entire brand for the past four years has been built on bashing the last president, made no quips about the brand new Biden administration during skits in the show's first episode of the new year.

From 2015 until Joe Biden entered the Oval Office, late night comedy became anything but funny, with comedians like Stephen Colbert and SNL alum Seth Meyers becoming rage-filled political commentators obsessed with President Trump. Their work effectively helping the DNC didn’t stop with hating Trump; they actually became more obnoxious sycophants puffing up Democrat politicians, as well.

Apparently it’s been an ordeal to do Trump sketches on SNL for a few of the cast members. One of the series’ fresher faces, Chloe Fineman told one outlet that she was overjoyed to finally be done with the show’s Trump gags.

The smarmy hosts of the fake-news skit "Weekend Update" on NBC's Saturday Night Live made nasty jokes about rooting for "active bioweapon" Donald Trump to die of coronavirus. Their fake debate moderator also asked about Trump's health "out of a simmering rage for his incompetence and a sadistic hope that he is not well."

Another week has passed and journalists are again upset with the Trump/Pence 2020 team for how they handled a debate. This time, Chuck Todd hammered Mike Pence for being “evasive” and “deflecting.” Four years ago today, on October 10, 2016, things were exactly the same. NBC’s Todd was horrified when Donald Trump brought Bill Clinton’s sexual accusers to a debate.

Saturday Night Live’s nasty, woke season premiere hit a new low, rooting for COVID as the President is in the hospital recovering. Yet somehow CBS This Morning on Monday touted the hate as “respectful.” 

Guest hosting MSNBC's AM Joy show this morning, Maria Teresa Kumar hailed the "powerful message" that Megan Thee Stallion delivered on SNL last night about Daniel Cameron, the black Kentucky Attorney General overseeing the Breonna Taylor case. Said MTS: "Daniel Cameron is no different than the sellout Negroes that sold our people into slavery."

Guest-hosting MSNBC's AM Joy show, Tiffany Cross says: "I watched the Republican convention and seeing the slew of black speakers that they had, it really did look like a modern-day minstrel show to me."

Of course the media develops romantic feelings for anyone willing to publicly disagree with President Trump. Remember the women of The View swooning over “Creepy Porn Lawyer” Michael Avenatti because he was talking trash about Trump? Well now Hollywood has succumbed to the same gushy romance in their own way, giving Brad Pitt an Emmy nod for his SNL portrayal of everyone’s beloved…
