ZERO Challenging Questions for Liberal Senator on CNN, PBS, MSNBC

September 26th, 2019 1:26 PM
It's always amusing when reporters insist that they're not "stenographers to power," but when you look at their interviews with Democrats, they often come across as stenographers -- extremely accomodating, and not at all challenging. Take for example, Sen.  Chris Murphy of Connecticut in his interviews on the Ukrainian kerfuffle on Wednesday. None of his three national TV interviews seriously…

Networks Rate Felicity Huffman News As More Epic Than Unemployment #s

September 7th, 2019 9:26 AM
ABC could only devote 14 SECONDS to the latest unemployment news on Friday night. CBS and NBC skipped it entirely. All three networks reported the latest on actress Felicity Huffman's fate in the college-admissions scandal. ABC actually gave that 18 seconds in the promo at the top of the show (and then a two-minute report).

The Gaffable Joe Biden

September 5th, 2019 8:30 PM
WASHINGTON -- Recently, in Hanover, New Hampshire, former Vice President Joe Biden — the gaffable Joe Biden — stitched together a stupendous concatenation of gaffes that ought to put him out of the race for the Democratic nomination. But apparently, it will not. This is good news for those of us who like a good laugh or a whole string of good laughs.

On PBS & NPR, Brooks Defends Biden Medal Mangle: 'He's Not Mendacious'

September 1st, 2019 9:09 AM
On Friday night's week in review on the PBS NewsHour, the taxpayer-funded network's dynamic duo of pundits upset the hardcore left by agreeing "the steam went out" of impeachment. But when it came to Joe Biden mangling the facts of a medal ceremony honoring a military hero, New York Times columnist David Brooks came rushing to Biden's defense, that unlike the president, he's not "mendacious" or "…

Business
August 30th, 2019 11:25 AM
Objectivity and truth-telling are no longer the most “sacred” responsibilities of the news media, at least according to the far-left The Nation magazine. It’s now … climate change. “We see Covering Climate Now as a fulfillment of journalism’s most sacred responsibilities, which are to inform people and foster constructive debate about common challenges and opportunities,” The Nation wrote on Aug…

Crazies: Not Bashing Trump on Denmark Is ‘Disloyal’ to Racist America

August 22nd, 2019 4:53 PM

There was plenty to pick through on Wednesday’s Hardball, such as topics covered here about how PBS NewsHour’s Yamiche Alcindor implied she was upset with God Bless the USA airing at Trump rallies and the President for not pushing gun control. But there were also meltdowns from Alcindor and her fellow panelists about Trump’s feud with Denmark that included the words “disloyal,” “grenades,” and…

PBS Lib Upset with ‘God Bless the USA’ at Rallies, Lack of Gun Control

August 21st, 2019 11:32 PM
Things took a bizarre turn roughly ten minutes into Wednesday’s Hardball and, surprisingly, it wasn’t MSNBC host Chris Matthews. After discussing President Donald Trump’s feud with Denmark, the topic turned to Trump’s proposal to invite Russia back into the G-7 (making it the G-8) again when far-left PBS NewsHour correspondent Yamiche Alcindor appeared to take issue with Lee Greenwood’s God Bless…

Nets Let Guests Misleadingly Tag El Paso Wal-Mart as 'Open Carry'

August 7th, 2019 10:20 AM
In the aftermath of the mass shooting at a Wal-Mart in El Paso, a number of news shows on ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and PBS have allowed guests to misleadingly cite gun-friendly Texas's open carry and concealed carry laws to give the impression that El Paso Wal-Mart customers must have been well-armed when they were attacked, thus undermining arguments in favor of allowing customers to bring guns…

Networks Play Up Racist 'New Low' in Detention of Teenager with Papers

August 4th, 2019 11:45 PM
The past couple of weeks have brought the latest example of liberal news outfits like CNN and MSNBC suddenly taking notice of a recurring problem in immigration enforcement under President Donald Trump's administration which also happened during past administrations, including that of Barack Obama. A number of shows pounced on the story of natural-born American citizen, Francisco Galicia, who was…

PBS Pundit: Dems Have 'A Strong Spiritual, Almost Religious Chord'

August 3rd, 2019 11:15 AM
If there's one amazingly bad take on the Democrats in 2019, it's the idea that they're somehow not secular, and appeal to a strong base of secularists. Mark Shields used old examples to argue "I think there is a strong spiritual, almost religious chord to the Democratic story."

PBS Series Explored Baltimore's Rat Problem...But It Was About RACISM

July 29th, 2019 3:57 PM
Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbart notes the funny part of all the media outrage over President Trump's tweets about "rat-infested" Baltimore: the PBS series Independent Lens picked up a documentary in 2018 called Rat Film all about Baltimore's rats. But this wasn't about Democrats letting the city go to the pests. This was PBS, so it's about white racism. It's right there in the trailer, as a…

July 26th, 2019 6:42 PM

PBS Spin: 2020 Could Determine Trump's Status as 'A Free Man'

July 24th, 2019 3:56 PM
After Special Counsel Robert Mueller's underwhelming testimony to the House Judiciary Committee, PBS White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor declared that Mueller had raised the stakes in 2020. No longer is 2020 a contrast of visions between President Trump and whoever the Democratic nominee is, but, "it may also come down to [Trump] being a free man." Host Judy Woodruff agreed, "That's a good…

MSNBC Wrongly Suggests Trump Tried to Jail All Asylum Seekers

July 6th, 2019 10:43 AM
On Wednesday, MSNBC's Jacob Soboroff was again adding to confusion over illegal immigration as he heavily gave the impression that the U.S. Supreme Court had blocked an effort by the Trump administration to keep asylum seekers jailed until their asylum cases are finalized. In fact, as clarified by PBS Newshour's Yamiche Alcindor, the administration was aiming on indefinite detention for asylum…
