On Monday night’s edition of NBC Nightly News, anchor Lester Holt decided to run a news package by the leftist internet gossip reporter Brandy Zadrozny maligning conservatives who care about local political and cultural issues as violent rioters in the mold of those who stormed the United States Capitol on January 6th, 2021.

The media made their fair share of nasty comments and skewed remarks in 2021, but there were also instances where reporters (or entire networks) deliberately misled their audiences.

Frequent consumers of political news may be aware of Gallup's annual poll measuring the "most admired man" in America which is typically announced a few days before New Year's. The poll was done yearly from 1946 through 2020, with 1976 the only year that was skipped. This year, a Google search shows no sign that Gallup did a poll for 2021.
