On CNN This Morning, Democrat Joel Rubin, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, claims that "civil disobedience is legal." By definition, civil "disobedience" is the breaking of law, and the willingness to accept the consequences thereof, ostensibly for a higher moral purpose.

On Wednesday’s Morning Joe, MS NOW’s Joe Scarborough continued his network’s inglorious habit of portraying ICE as some sort of cartoon villain. In this case, Scarborough compared ICE to both the Soviet Union and today’s Russia under Vladimir Putin while talking beside footage of an operation at a gas station that he ignored the context of.

While discussing the shooting of left-wing activist Renee Good as she almost ran over an ICE agent in Minneapolis last week, MS NOW host Katy Tur worried on her Friday show that DHS recruiting Americans who "like guns" and prof wrestling contributes to violent actions by ICE.

As the Supreme Court held oral arguments on Tuesday on a case about transgender sports, MS NOW senior legal reporter Lisa Rubin and professor and podcaster Leah Litman assembled on Ana Cabrera Reports to allege that observing biological differences between the sexes is a right-wing fear campaign and the sort of sex discrimination not allowed by the Constitution.

The hosts of MS NOW's The Weekend didn't utter a peep on Sunday morning as Squad member Ayanna Pressley three times accused ICE of "murder" in the shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis. But the hosts and Pressley harshly criticized Trump administration officials for their characterizations of Good. 

On Friday night's PBS News Hour -- two nights after they devoted nine minutes to recovery efforts on the Los Angeles wildfires without mentioning Karen Bass, Gavin Newsom or the word "Democrats" -- they promoted a new book by MS NOW reporter Jacob Soboroff that mostly blames Donald Trump and Elon Musk for causing the most damage with their "disinformation."

The Saturday edition of MS NOW's The Weekend had as a guest Angie Craig, a Minnesota congresswoman entered in the Democrat primary for an open Senate seat. Craig recently pulled a stunt on the House floor, picking an argument with a Republican congressman over the ICE shooting in Minneapolis.  She made absurd claims on the show, including that "every Minnesotan and American" is outraged like…

MS NOW’s Ali Velshi and historian Heather Cox Richardson joined forces on Saturday to hurl what might be the most incendiary and stupid hot take on the situation in Minneapolis to date. According to Richardson, ICE Agent Jonathan Ross shot Renee Nicole Good because she was a woman trying to de-escalate the situation.

Morning Joe scolds the Trump administration for prejudging and jumping to conclusions regarding the fatal ICE shooting of a woman in Minneapolis, but the panel repeatedly refers to the woman who was shot as "the victim," thereby pointing an accusing finger at ICE.

If MS NOW had a mascot, it would be a blue parrot. When The Briefing host Jen Psaki interviewed Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey on her Wednesday show about the ICE shooting involving an agent and an SUV driver, she repeated his accusation that the Trump administration’s defense of the agent was “BS,” and Frey himself echoed Psaki’s echo by doubling down on the “BS” language.

Morning Joe brought out the Yes-buts on Monday. "We're certainly not hoping that things [in Venezuela] unravel, BUT that's what recent history has taught us." You just know that Scarborough and the rest of the liberal media are licking their lips, hoping and praying, waiting to pounce at the slightest indication that things are not going according to plan.

Fox News is on the upswing, while MS NOW and CNN are falling off. It would be unsurprising for "news" networks to lose audience after a presidential campaign year, but Fox's success makes the others look worse. Overall, Fox News scored its highest ratings for the year ever for a non-election year, second only to 2020.

On Monday's Morning Joe, MS NOW analyst and member of the New York Times editorial board Mara Gay claims that Somalis are being "scapegoated" over welfare-program fraud in Minnesota.
