All three networks on Wednesday grilled United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley about Donald Trump’s “threatening” language to North Korea, wondering if the President’s speech was “appropriate.” But it was CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King who twisted the English language to worry about how the talk would impact the “President of North Korea.” 

After news broke Wednesday night that the President may have struck a deal with Democratic congressional leaders to pass DACA legislation, on Thursday morning, ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Today gushed over how Trump “sounds like a Democrat” when discussing illegal immigration and tax reform.

What’s more important? A staff member for a Republican senator apparently “liking” a pornographic tweet on Twitter or a Democratic senator on trial for bribery and corruption, facing possible resignation and years in prison? If you answered with the first option, then you might work for NBC News. 

As Hurricane Irma coverage dominated network news coverage on Monday, it was inevitable that the journalists would embrace climate change during the reporting. Both ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS This Morning suggested that Hurricanes Harvey and Irma prove global warming. 

While ABC and NBC on Wednesday continued their silence on the bribery trial of Democratic Senator Bob Menendez, CBS This Morning allowed a scant 22 seconds. This was the first time all year CBS even mentioned the scandal swirling around the New Jersey politician. ABC and NBC haven’t touched the impending trial all year. 

After helping sell President Obama’s unilateral executive overreach on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) in 2012 and 2014, on Wednesday morning, the broadcast networks eagerly promoted the former president blasting the Trump administration’s “cruel” plan to end the policy.

On Tuesday, hours before the Trump administration announced a gradual end to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) immigration executive order implemented by President Obama, the network morning shows feared the “immigration battle” to come while promoting the “blue-state backlash” as left-wing activists took to the streets in protest.

Conclusion first, facts second. That, allegedly, was the mentality of ex-FBI Director James Comey in dealing with Hillary Clinton’s e-mail scandal. Yet this revelation was ignored by ABC, CBS and NBC on Thursday and Friday. Comey, who was fired by Donald Trump in May, decided in 2016 against criminal charges of Hillary Clinton before 17 interviews of witnesses were complete.

While ABC and NBC only produced a news brief about a protest in favor of Colin Kaepernick, CBS This Morning on Thursday devoted an entire segment to “taking a stand” for the football player, even hyping comparisons of him to Rosa Parks and Muhammad Ali. Reporter Dana Jacobson spun the rally in New York, cheering, “Social justice advocates rallied to show their support for Colin Kaepernick.” 

After accusing Trump-supporters of wanting to hurt reporters, ABC went on to claim that Trump hated the media because he hates the truth, on Wednesday’s Good Morning America. Not only that, ABC political analyst Matthew Dowd stated, but Trump hates that that the Constitution protects freedom of the press.

ABC’s Good Morning America co-host Lara Spencer gave George and Amal Clooney a pat on the back for giving $1 million to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which has a long history of smearing conservative groups.

ABC’s Good Morning America started off Wednesday’s broadcast in a frantic mood, complaining over and over again about President Trump’s verbal attacks on the media at last night’s rally in Phoenix, Arizona. Instead of taking these typical knocks from Trump in stride, ABC went in full on Chicken Little mode, worrying that his words would “incite” one of his supporters to physically attack one of…

Despite President Trump condemning white supremacist hate groups by name on Monday for the violence in Charlottesville, on Tuesday, the network morning shows lined up to blame the President for the rise of such groups and having “emboldened” them with his 2016 campaign.
