The journalists at CBS This Morning on Wednesday speculated that one reason Speaker of the House Paul Ryan disavowed any interest in the 2016 Republican nomination is because it’s “not worth having.” Talking to reporter Nancy Cordes, co-host Charlie Rose speculated, “Is it possible he thinks this is not a nomination worth having in this political year?”

CBS This Morning co-host Charlie Rose on Friday demanded that Bernie Sanders retreat from his tough new attacks against the Democratic front-runner. Rose, who once began a Clinton interview by reading a poem to his “friend,” lectured Sanders: “The tenor of this campaign has changed when you're questioning the qualification of a person to be president.”

Appearing a guest on Thursday's edition of CBS's The Late Show, openly-gay actor Tituss Burgess used the platform to inform the audience that, if given the chance to give the commencement speech at his alma mater the University of Georgia, he would urge graduates to "get these terrorists out of office" who supported the now-vetoed religious freedom bill.
