The man who some journalists once considered a Democratic presidential contender just got slapped with more prison time as creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti was sentenced Thursday to four years in jail for stealing from adult film star Stormy Daniels. Yet ABC, CBS and CNN -- outlets that repeatedly hyped the concept of President Avenatti -- buried the news. 

For the second day in a row on Thursday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre struggled to offer even cogent spin for the Biden administration on gun control and their months-long delay in responding to the baby formula crisis. Once again, it was Fox’s Peter Doocy and CBS’s Ed O’Keefe that most agitated Jean-Pierre.

ABC, CBS and NBC are still hiding the awful claims about Joe Biden’s son, disturbing details about his porn habits and the fact that his own daughters had to expose his infidelities. 

CBS Mornings resumed its crusade Wednesday against the Second Amendment and gun ownership (outside the military) as the co-hosts spent nearly seven and a half minutes hectoring Governor Asa Hutchinson (R-AR) to support the banning of “assault riles” and do more within his party as too many Americans are “sleeping with our guns and crying over our guns and letting our children die.”

After K-Pop band BTS led Tuesday’s White House press briefing, economic adviser Brian Deese and Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre faced questions about the economy, gas prices, gun control, inflation, and student loans. In the case of Jean-Pierre, she continued using her briefing binder as a clutch.

Paul Pelosi, the husband of liberal media favorite Nancy Pelosi, on Saturday night was arrested for allegedly driving drunk. The three networks jumped into protection mode, allowing just 117 seconds total. ABC’s coverage was the paltriest, just a scant 22 seconds on Sunday night.

As the National Rifle Association holds its convention in Houston, CBS Saturday Morning lamented that Republicans “remain in lockstep with” with the organization and decried the partisanship showed at the convention, but of course they only meant Republican partisanship. Accusing people of killing children is just the other perspective for CBS.
