The Liberal Media’s Cult of Trump Derangement Syndrome

It would be hard to make this up. On two very different subjects, the liberal media has emerged from the last couple of weeks with not just egg on its face. In fact, it seems like they took an entire carton of Grade A Large and smashed them one by one over themselves. Can you say "cult"?

Why Hollywood Lies About Its Blatant Liberal Bias

When it comes to partisan politics, Hollywood can’t help but lie through its teeth. Need proof? Here’s some examples. Jimmy Kimmel recently teased his ABC “upfront” roast, aimed at announcing new broadcast content, in an unexpected fashion. He promised he wouldn’t roast President Donald Trump like he does on a nightly basis via Jimmy Kimmel Live.

This Week in Media Bias History: ‘Good’ Weiner ‘Should Hang in There'

In 2011, veteran ABC journalist Barbara Walters cheered on Anthony Weiner, praising the “good Congressman” who had been accused of texting lewd images to young women. Appearing on The View, Walters hailed Weiner, saying: “[He] should hang in there.”

Kim Strassel: Media Ignoring 'Searing Indictment' of FBI Culture

The Wall Street Journal's Kimberley Strassel appeared on Tucker Carlson's Fox News show Friday to discuss Thursday's Inspector General report on "Various Actions by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice in Advance of the 2016 Election." She made the big-picture point most of the rest of the press is either ignoring or denying, namely that the IG has delivered "a searing…

NYT Again Skips the S-Word in Long A-1 Story on Venezuela Crisis

Yet another long New York Times article on the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela spared no space for the “S-word,” -- socialism -- that is the root cause of the country’s woes. William Neuman and Clifford Krauss devoted 1,700 words on the front of Friday’s edition to one facet of the country’s woes: "Job at Oil Giant Is No Longer Path to the Venezuelan Dream.” The absence of the actual cause of…

PBS's Mark Shields: 'Very Sparse' Evidence of FBI Bias Against Trump

PBS NewsHour anchor Judy Woodruff passed over the Inspector General's report with a no-bias-found verdict: "Very tough on James Comey, saying he was insubordinate, some other tough criticism of him, but, ultimately, 500 pages concluded that the way the FBI handled it didn’t demonstrate bias." Mark Shields was unintentionally funny: "If you’re a flat-Earth person or you’re a round-Earth person,…

Surprise! Nickelodeon Makes 'Celebrate Pride Month' Promo

In March, we pointed out how the struggling tween-oriented network Nickelodeon injected anti-gun politics into the low-rated Kids’ Choice Awards. Last week, they politicized their brand again in the form of a YouTube video touting it was time to “Celebrate [Gay] Pride Month.” The content of the promo barely touched on LGBT issues. One boy announced “I’m proud of my moms” and it showed him with a…

Bozell & Graham Column: Hollywood Isn't Supportive of Abortion?

Feminists who embrace the "right" to abortion – the right to destroy an unborn life on a woman’s demand at any point in pregnancy – just will not accept they are powerful enough in Hollywood. Abortion scenes in TV and the movies need to be more “educational” and end the “stigma” of violence against babies, such as being torn to pieces and feeling the pain of being chemically burned to pieces. …

Um, Hostages? Maddow Falsely Claims N. Korea Gave 'Nothing' for Summit

On Tuesday night's Rachel Maddow Show, the MSNBC host's usual elongated lecture contained a few seconds of easily identifiable falsehood. In attempting to underline just how badly Trump negotiated with the North Koreans, she claimed the communists "gave up nothing. They promised nothing." This at the very least left out three American hostages released.

At NY Times, Leonhardt Stretches IG's Conclusions to Breaking Point

David Leonhardt's Friday New York Times column about President Donald Trump's reactions to the Inspector General's report on the FBI's and Department of Justice's pre-2016 general election actions is treating it as a blanket exoneration. Therefore, everything Presidential Donald Trump has said about it is a lie.

Press Ignores Obama's Lie About Emails to Hillary's Private Server

Thursday's Inspector General's report reviewing FBI and Department of Justice actions before the 2016 election effectively concluded that former President Barack Obama lied to the American people and committed illegal acts in emailing then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private-server email addresses. The IG also found that former FBI Director James Comey scrubbed all hints of Obama's prior…

Mark Levin: FBI Interference ‘Worse Than Russians Could Have Dreamed’

Hours after the U.S. Inspector General office released a report on Thursday regarding liberal media bias in the Department of Justice and the FBI, radio host Mark Levin used an appearance on that day’s edition of Fox News Channel’s Hannity program to address the fact that “those people had as their purpose to interfere” with the 2016 presidential election. As if that wasn’t shocking enough,…

NYT Investigates Why Some Working Women Might ‘Consider an Abortion’

While the liberal media routinely push for abortion as a part of “women’s rights,” they’re calling out companies that reportedly pressure women to choose abortion – due to a New York Times piece. On Friday, NYT published a piece on the “Epidemic of Discrimination Against Pregnant Women at Work.”
