ABC & CBS Ignore Gov. Cuomo Saying America ‘Was Never That Great’

One would think a major gaffe by a prominent governor and potential 2020 presidential candidate would garner significant attention from the broadcast networks. However, since Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo told a crowd on Wednesday that America “was never that great,” NBC has only provided 37 seconds of coverage to the controversy, while ABC and CBS have ignored the story altogether.

‘Gosnell’ Trailer Calls Out Media Absence at Evil Abortionist’s Trial

The new trailer for Gosnell teases the horror story of a murderous abortionist and his trial – including scenes of empty media seats in the courtroom. It’s right. I know because I was there. The trial of Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell, in which witnesses described baby abortion survivors “swimming" in toilets “to get out,” attracted a mere 12 – 15 reporters (many of whom, I noticed, were…

First Straws, Now AP Suggests Balloons Are Under Eco ‘Scrutiny’

The environmentalists’ drive to limit plastic usage could impact your next celebration. After launching a crusade and petitions to ban plastic straws (harming disabled people who actually require them), environmentalists aren’t content to stop there. As cities and companies are starting to banish plastic straws there are “signs balloons will be among the products to get more scrutiny,” although…

The Theory of Political Relative Relativity

It's quite simple: Some political relatives are more equal than others. Agenda-driven journalists love to exploit familial dysfunction when a prominent politician is conservative and his or her kinfolk espouse liberal views. When a vengeful offspring, sibling, cousin or distant relation wants to wreak havoc, instant fame and adoration are just a tweet or call away. The media schadenfreude over…

Pathetic: Matthews Compares Omarosa-Trump Feud to Burr-Hamilton

Well, that’s a new one that’ll have our Founders rolling in their graves. At the top of Wednesday’s Hardball, longtime MSNBC liberal Chris Matthews asserted that the feud of President Trump vs. Omarosa Manigault Newman marks “a new era in American politics, an old-fashioned duel that hearkens back to the days of Hamilton and Burr, but with a made-for-reality-TV update.”

Enough's Enough

During the weekend of Aug. 4-5 (and the preceding Friday night), 12 Chicagoans were shot dead, and 62 others were shot and wounded, the Chicago Tribune reported. Before last week's mayhem, 1,718 Chicagoans had been shot since the beginning of the year, and 306 had been murdered. Adding to this tragedy is the fact that Chicago's clearance rate is less than 15 percent.

NBC Was Fuming Mad After Their Employee Lost His Security Clearance

In a Wednesday move that was both praised and criticized, President Trump revoked the Top Secret security clearance for Obama-era CIA director and major Trump-critic John Brennan. The former spook is now an NBC News analyst, so the network didn’t take too kindly to their guy losing the mighty privilege he was granted.

NBC Presses Twitter CEO on Trump Supposedly Violating Terms of Service

In an exclusive interview with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey on Wednesday, NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt wanted to know how the company went about suspending the account of deranged internet conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. And using that as a springboard, Holt wanted to know if President Trump violated the rules, like Jones did, with his “dog” tweet about former White House staffer Omarosa…

CBS Misleads on Semi-Automatic Versus Machine Guns

No matter how many times gun issues are discussed and debated, the difference between semi-automatic and automatic guns just doesn't sink in with some journalists. As CBS This Morning co-host Alex Wagner spoke with a group of six millennial women voters, when panel members gave the impression that semi-automatic weapons are the same as machine guns, and that machine guns are currently legal for…

Berman to Wilson: 'Do You See a Racial Tinge' To Trump 'Dog' Comment?

During Tuesday’s edition of CNN’s New Day, co-host John Berman interviewed Florida Democratic Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, one of the President’s most vocal critics and he could not resist asking her to weigh in on President Trump’s reference to former White House employee Omarosa Manigault-Newman as a “dog.” Not surprisingly, Congresswoman Wilson had nothing kind to say about President Trump.

Indulging in obvious identify politics in Wednesday’s New York Times, reporter Elizabeth Dias celebrated Rashida Tlaib’s Democratic primary victory in Detroit right along with her supporters in “Candidate’s Palestinian Heritage Infuses Sense of Community in Detroit.” Already, her story offers a remarkable counterpoint to anti-Muslim policy and sentiment rising around the country, and especially…
