WashPost Drops 30 'Conservative' Labels on Catholic Media vs. Francis

The Washington Post followed the example of The New York Times with a Thursday article that played up the role of conservative Catholics in the release of a former Vatican diplomat's recent "testimony" against Pope Francis. Michelle Boorstein emphasized that "conservative Catholic media outlets have become power players by conveying the anti-Francis point of view." She also zeroed in on the role…

NYT, Daily Beast Expose How NBC News Tried to Nix Weinstein Bombshell

On Thursday, NBC News was rocked by back-to-back investigative reports by The New York Times and The Daily Beast detailing breaches of journalistic integrity and threats to “smear” Ronan Farrow, who has since left the organization. His crime? Trying to expose Harvey Weinstein’s predatory behavior. If the accusations are accurate, it could explain why NBC superstar Matt Lauer was allowed to get…

CNN Contributor: 'How to Prepare for Ex-President Trump'

Although President Donald Trump has been in office for less that two years, many of those afflicted with extreme Trump Derangement Syndrome are already fantasizing about his exit from office. Among those is Georgetown University law professor Joshua A. Geltzer whose TDS fantasy about Trump's departure is notable for the fact that it is coated in several thick layers of unadulterated smug.

Carlson, Steyn Mock CNN's ‘Dishonesty’ Led by ‘Fraudulent’ Bernstein

As CNN’s embarrassing denial continues concerning the very dubious July 26 Trump Tower story, Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson and conservative author Mark Steyn had some fun Thursday night mocking the “meta-lying” surrounding the CNN story led in part by “fraudulent character” Carl Bernstein.

ABC/NBC Skip DOJ Siding With Asian Students Against Affirmative Action

In a report out Thursday, the Justice Department sided with a group of Asian-Americans suing Harvard University for what they allege is racial discrimination in the admissions process by setting higher standards for them. That critical DOJ report could help propel the case to the Supreme Court, but for ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News, it was less important than speculating about…

Todd Whines: ‘False Accusations’ of Liberal Bias Tarnish Journalism

Chuck Todd just lives in his own little world, doesn’t he? The MTP Daily host on Thursday again lashed out at claims of liberal media bias, lamenting that “false accusations” against the press caused journalists to question themselves. Talking about accusations of censorship against Facebook and Twitter, Todd whined: “One of the mistakes we in the mainstream media made during when these false…

Vanity Fair Gushes: Texas About to Turn Blue With Obama-Esque Dem!

The journalistic gushing over Texas Democrat Beto O’Rourke continued on Wednesday as Vanity Fair insisted not only is the liberal senatorial candidate the man to make Texas blue, he might also topple Trump in 2020. Journalist Peter Hamby isn’t the first to rhapsodize over O’Rourke, but he may be the most effusive. The writer fawned:

Of Course: CNN Makes Reaction to McCain’s AZ Funeral About Trump

From the moment the late Republican Senator John McCain’s Arizona memorial service ended Thursday afternoon, CNN’s assembled panelists continued the embarrassing network’s obsession with tying McCain tributes to President Donald Trump, the latter’s attacks on the former, and how McCain was the anti-Trump.

Should the Pope Resign?

WASHINGTON — Many years ago, in the early 1980s, I was drawn ever so transiently into the bureaucratic intricacies of the Roman Catholic Church in America. There was a saintly priest at Indiana University, Rev. James Higgins, who was driven from the university's Newman Center to a parish some 20 miles away from campus. The archbishop of Indianapolis replaced him with two utter lightweights.

The Catholic Church Sex Abuse Scandal

Sexual scandals and inappropriate behavior are as old as the Bible. I give you (1 Corinthians 5:1) in which Paul writes: “It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father's wife.” In more modern times, there have been sex scandals involving TV evangelists from Aimee Semple McPherson in the '20s to…

Public officials are still calling into question the practices of social media tech companies. Both Facebook’s COO Sheryl Sandberg and Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey are set to testify in front of both the House and Senate next week, on September 5. The Senate Intelligence Committee said their hearing was focused on “social media companies’ responses to foreign influence operations.”

Sarah Silverman to ‘Motherf***er’ Christians: I’m Mocking ‘Allah’ Now

A Jewish comedian is poking fun at “Allah” now, thanks to those Christian “motherf***ers.” On Wednesday, Sarah Silverman’s Hulu show, I Love You, America, released a trailer for its upcoming second season, which begins Sept. 6. In the clip, Silverman addressed her Christian critics by courting Islamic critics. At least one person found it funny: herself.

WashPost: ‘Conservative Catholic Media’ Trying to Take Down Pope

Fact: The Washington Post is anti-Trump. Scenario: a former Trump administration official writes an op-ed in the Post that contains an explosive accusation. When the press confronts Trump with allegation, he says “you have a sufficient journalistic ability to make a conclusion (Except Jim Acosta -- you’re fake news).” Then the White House goes silent on the issue, refusing comment.
