While anchoring for a two-hour block on MSNBC Friday afternoon, host Katy Tur just couldn’t seem get Florida Republican gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis’s name right, repeatedly calling him “Rick.” Her confusion over the GOP Congressman’s moniker became so bad that even the college students at the University of South Florida campus she was broadcasting from had to correct her.

The fallout from Thursday’s meeting of Kanye West and President Trump spilled over into that evening’s edition of CNN Tonight, when host Don Lemon asserted that he was not being condescending toward the rapper even while making disparaging remarks about West’s mental health. Instead, the CNN anchor claimed that he was “just telling the truth.”

The same magazine that warned last year the “Uninhabitable Earth” was coming due to global warming, is now making even more over-the-top claims about that threat. New York Magazine climate columnist David Wallace-Wells not only interpreted the latest U.N. climate warnings as “permission to freak out,” he made plenty of predictions that could urge others to panic, too.

In an insanely biased and nutty tweet Friday afternoon, Washington Post congressional correspondent Paul Kane falsely claimed that “right-wing anger/mobs” caused deranged Tuscon, Arizona shooter Jared Lee Loughner to kill six and nearly assassinate then-Democratic Congresswoman Gabby Giffords.

Oh man, say what you will about Kanye, but the man’s great at reducing the left-wing media into a quivering and insecure pile of mush. The very fact that a prominent celebrity, who also happens to be a minority, has divorced himself from the showbiz victims’ circle has unleashed pure spite from his former colleagues. ABC anchor Tom Llamas appeared on Friday’s The View to talk about his interview with Melania Trump airing tonight where no question was left off the table. The View hosts’ questions to Llamas were dripping with condescension for the First Lady, with one host taking it so far, that even the ABC reporter had to call her out for being disrespectful.

During Thursday’s edition of Cuomo Prime Time, host Chris Cuomo described the meeting between President Trump and rapper Kanye West as a “traveshamockery,” the exact same phrase he used to describe the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings before sexual assault allegations even emerged.

While moderating a panel discussion about the upcoming midterm elections on her 9:00 a.m. ET hour show on Friday, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle bemoaned the fact that Democrats may have hurt their chances by the way they attempted to character assassinate Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, admitting that swing voters “don’t like the way Democrats handled it.”

An absolute classic out of the Dem/MSM playbook. Take a huge, expensive, inefficient, government program. Find someone with a heartwrenching story who is helped by it. Highlight that story as if it represents the essence of the program in question. Bonus points if you can get someone to get choked up on camera. Google wants to cite only the best experts in their fields in order to justify its position. Who better than liberal billionaire George Soros? In the Google presentation, “The Good Censor,” leaked to Breitbart, the search media company cited 27 so-called “experts” for different aspects of digital freedom and online censorship.  

Politico magazine media writer Jack Shafer is not your typical lefty media type, as demonstrated by his latest piece "Stop the Press Before It Profiles Beto O’Rourke Again." Shafer calls out his colleagues for overdoing the Beto "buzz," and then  underlines his agreement with the conventional wisdom that O'Rourke's opponent Ted Cruz is a terrible human being.
