The View: Democrats Aren't 'Far-Left,' Just Have 'Common Sense'

Friday on The View, the liberal hosts took offense at the Wall Street Journal suggesting Joe Biden’s popularity in the 2020 race meant that Americans didn’t want a “far-left” Democrat. Joy Behar praised the virtues of liberalism while simultaneously denying Democrat policies were anything but “common sense.” Whoopi Goldberg even went out of her way to defend Democrats’ support for late-term…

MSNBC Pushes Fake News While Celebrating Biden’s Move Left on Abortion

MSNBC on Friday celebrated the “major reversal” of 2020 frontrunner Joe Biden when it comes to abortion and his support for the Hyde Amendment. MSNBC Live host Stephanie Ruhle hyped reporter Heidi Przybyla as being mostly responsible for the flip flop. Przybyla even used debunked information to warn of the dangers of abortion restrictions passing in several states.

On D-Day, MSNBC’s O’Donnell Suggests Trump’s Dad Was Nazi Sympathizer

Thursday night’s episode of The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell did little to venerate the 75th anniversary of D-Day, instead focusing on the liberal media’s Public enemy number one Donald Trump. O’Donnell began his almost six-minute rant by stating: “Donald Trump’s vocabulary is and always has been the size of his mind. Which is to say very, very small.” Good one O’Donnell, no one saw that…

YouTube Blacklists Crowder, Allows Russian Disinformation

As YouTube cuts off the ability of conservatives like comedian Steven Crowder and free speech advocates to support themselves on YouTube, it has allowed massive Russian disinformation to thrive. In the wake of revelations about Iranian subversion on Facebook and Russian accounts on Twitter seeking to “inflame opinions on both sides,” YouTube’s track record appears to be just as bad — or worse.…

'Raise Hell': WashPost Promotes Molly Ivins-Loving Documentary in DC

The Washington Post is not shy about branding itself as a crusading leftist paper. I received an e-mail this morning titled "Special Offer: Join The Washington Post Press Freedom Partnership at AFI Docs Film Festival June 19-23." Their "press freedom partnership" was founded last year. But the Post is promoting one particular documentary at the film festival. It's titled Raise Hell: The Life and…

It’s More Than the Economy

For more than a generation, James Carville's campaign maxim, "It's the economy, stupid," has been held up as an essential truth of American politics. There's no denying that a strong economy is an incumbent president's best friend. Seventy-three percent of voters currently rate the economy as a very important issue. As a result, if the economy remains strong for another 1 1/2 years, many analysts…

MRC’s Tim Graham: Media’s ‘Hatred and Loathing’ Much More Obvious Now

The Media Research Center’s Tim Graham on Friday declared that  “hatred and the loathing and the disgust” is a lot easier to spot from journalists these days. Appearing on Fox and Friends to promote Unmasked: Big Media's War Against Trump, Graham called for journalists to simply do their jobs: “We want reporters to tell us what happened today. What did politicians say today? And I would even like…

Really, NYTimes? Trump Denial of ‘Nasty’ Comment Ominously ‘Orwellian'

New York Times White House correspondent Katie Rogers latched on to a minor Trump quote controversy and elevated it to Orwellian importance in Thursday’s edition: Did Trump call former actress Meghan Markle, now wife to Prince Harry and called the Duchess of Sussex, “nasty?” The online edition of the paper upped the significance of the silly spat into a battle over ultimate truth: “An…

'Mostly False'? PolitiFact Goes Soft on Obama's Pants-on-Fire Gun Rant

PolitiFact has gone many months in between making judgments on Barack Obama comments. It must have made their liberal bones ache to give him a "Mostly False" for shamelssly un-factual comments he made about America in Brazil, like this: "Anybody can buy any weapon, any time without much, if any, regulation. They buy it over the internet. They can buy machine guns."

MSNBC's Melber/Matthews Trash Pelosi's 'See Trump in Prison' Line

MSNBC hosts Ari Melber and Chris Matthews trash Nancy Pelosi's line that, rather than seeing President Trump impeached, she'd like to see him "in prison." Melber suggests it's the equivalent of President Trump's "lock her up" line, and Matthews says it's worthy of a "rinky-dink, fourth-world" country like "Pakistan."

CBS, NBC Forced to Admit Tariff Threats Causing Mexico to Take Action

Despite decrying President Trump’s threats to impose escalating tariffs on goods from Mexico, CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News were forced Thursday to admit the tactic appeared to be working as intended. But that didn’t stop them from continuing to whine anyway.

Matthews Hits Colleagues for Talking ‘Nasty Boy Politics’ in Normandy

While the liberal media on-site spent portions of Thursday chastising President Trump for his Ingraham Angle interview in the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial prior to his moving speech marking the 75th anniversary of D-Day, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews told viewers that he was uneasy with his colleagues in the press “talk[ing] nasty boy politics in front of the graves.” How…

Fresno Bee Glosses Over Issue of AOC's Far-Left Agenda

Since the Memorial Day controversy in Fresno when the Grizzlies minor league baseball team showed a video depicting Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (shown speaking at the 2019 Women's Rights March in New York) as an "enemy of freedom," the Fresno Bee has published multiple stories on the controversy which conveniently skipped right over the socialist firebrand's ideas for eroding many of…

Morning Joe Compares D-Day to Russian Interference

Thursday is the 75th anniversary of D-Day, which was one of the most consequential military victories in world history. MSNBC, overall, took a break from its daily crusade against the Trump administration in order to honor the men who stormed the beaches of Normandy. Morning Joe, however, just couldn’t help itself.
