Mostly, the View wanted him to pronounce on the Trump tweet of the day on the "fake news" (and the MRC study showing 91 percent of the evening-news coverage of Trump was negative from January to April). 

Tuesday’s edition of The View on ABC began with a bizarre spin. The announcer proclaimed: “One of the president's biggest foes, New York attorney general Eric Schneiderman, resigns over sexual abuse allegations. On Monday’s edition of The View, co-host Whoopi Goldberg noted the president touted a new Reuters-Ipsos poll that showed a growing approval rating for Trump among blacks. Liberal co-host Sunny Hostin then said she doesn't believe these polls anymore, since Hillary lost. 

The ladies of ABC's The View unanimously defended liberal comedian Michelle Wolf's White House Correspondents Dinner routine on Monday. Whoopi Goldberg said there was a "brutal backlash" and calls for an end to the dinner. Joy Behar said "We were laughing our heads off here." Sunny Hostin attended the dinner with her old CNN pals. "DonLemon and I cackled during a lot of it."

On ABC’s The View on Friday, the co-hosts discussed the prospects of peace between North Korea and South Korea, but Sunny Hostin refused to accept that President Trump deserved one ounce of credit. "This has nothing to do with Trump...I think the kudos goes to China, not Trump."
