During two different cable news broadcasts on Friday morning, personalities compared President Trump to two different  “strong men” dictators, apparently growing tired of the Hitler comparison. CNN senior political commentator and former Obama aide David Axelrod compared Trump to the Roman Emperor Nero while MSNBC’s Jon Meacham described him as “Stalinist.”

You could almost hear the strains of "Give Me that Old Time Religion" in the background as the Morning Joe crew used religion to blast Trump on Thursday. In addition to Holy Joe Scarborough leading the charge was guest Eddie Glaude who recently went on an anti-Israel tirade as well as sanctimonious Jon Meacham who declared that anyone who supports Trump is committing idolatry.

Jon Meacham apparently isn't paying attention to the liberal message (for now) to NOT mention that if the Democrats win back the House this November, they will impeach President Trump. Perhaps historian and failed Newsweek editor Meacham is so eager for that impeachment that he just couldn't hold back on Monday's Morning Joe.
