On Wednesday morning, CNN finally highlighted positive reactions to Governor Ron DeSantis's handling of the pandemic after a history of repeatedly dunking on the Florida Republican for not enacting pandemic regulations as strict as some -- mostly on the left -- had wanted.

On CNN's New Day, Biden border coordinator Roberta Jacobson admits that when it comes to messaging, the human smugglers are more "quick and agile" than the Biden administration. Co-host John Berman surprisingly presses Jacobson on the Biden admin's various failures regarding the border. 

CNN led off New Day this morning at 6 am Eastern by suggesting Tucker Carlson may want you dead from COVID. Berman said  "Does Tucker Carlson really want his viewers to live? Look, this guy bemoans so-called cancel culture more than anyone on Earth. But he should look in the mirror. Because you can't get any more cancelled than dead."

On CNN's New Day, co-host John Berman, parroting the Democrat party line, says that the border crisis is "one more reason to pass comprehensive immigration reform."  Berman also frets over the "roadblocks" that the legislation might face.

Laws of supply and demand? Meh! The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office has calculated that Biden's $15/hr. minimum wage would kill as many as 3.7 million jobs. But on this morning's New Day, CNN commentator Errol Louis said it was "shameful" of Democrat Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia not to support the increase.

Forget a second failed impeachment attempt. CNN never stops seeing trouble for Trump right around the corner. And they love it. On New Day, John Berman, Erica Hill, and Elie Honig laughed and joked about the potential legal problems facing President Trump and Rudy Giuliani.

On CNN's New Day, co-host John Berman says Nikki Haley doesn't deserve a Profile in Courage for her criticism of President Trump's post-election "I won big" routine, as reported in a Politico article.  Berman in effect brands Haley an opportunist, calling her a "weathervane" who "twists with the political winds. And she sees the political wind blowing against" Trump. 

Who cares if Joe Biden was just joshing when he said he wanted to govern in a bipartisan way?
