Merging politics with religion became acceptable on Wednesday for the cast of CNN This Morning as hosts Kaitlan Collins and Don Lemon were joined by commentator Errol Louis as all three sang the praises of Senate Chaplain Barry Black for praying for gun control with Louis urging other pastors to “speak your truth” and do the same.

On CNN This Morning, discussing the Nashville school shooting, Don Lemon says: "let's um, talk about the thing that everyone is talking about. Everyone is thinking, but they don't want to talk about. And that is the identity of the shooter, okay? And it's a member of the LGBTQ  community. I think this is important to bring up."
