On Friday's Hardball on MSNBC, during an interview with former Washington Post reporter Sally Quinn, host Chris Matthews oddly gushed over his liberal guest's claims in her book that she had put "hexes" on people and possibly caused their early demise. She even made a crack about how her friends keep trying to get her to put a hex on President Donald Trump.  

Following the lead of Thursday’s White House press briefing, MSNBC’s Hardball decided to not discuss how the Trump tax reform plan could help millions of Americans by unleashing massive economic growth, but instead how President Trump would benefit from it.

Just when you think you’ve heard it all, you’re shown otherwise. During Thursday’s Hardball, MSNBC host Chris Matthews compared the Russian-backed social media trolls during the 2016 election to the 9/11 hijackers who murdered thousands of Americans in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

On Tuesday’s Hardball, New York Times columnist and Never Trump diehard Bret Stephens pigeon-holed conservatives opposed to the NFL protests, declaring that the American flag isn’t a monumental “totem like it's the obelisk that descends on planet Earth in 2001: A Space Odyssey” while demanding conservatives get in line behind National Anthem protesters.

Seemingly everyone has an opinion about Hillary Clinton’s pity party/book What Happened and so, it was Hardball’s turn on Tuesday. Host Chris Matthews proclaimed it to be “a very profound and candid book” by “moderate” Hillary despite the fact that he hasn’t read the whole book yet.
