While on his book tour, Republican Senator Jeff Flake (Ariz.) stopped by Tuesday’s Hardball for an interview in which host Chris Matthews heaped effusive praise on Flake’s book Conscience of a Conservative as one that’s not only “tough” and “hard-hitting” on the GOP and President Trump, but a “very compelling” one too.

The fallout from last week’s departure of Sean Spicer as White House press secretary and Reince Priebus as chairman of the Republican National Committee spilled into MSNBC’s liberal programming on Sunday. A new MSNBC promo aired during Thursday’s Hardball flaunted the bona fides of the liberal network’s far-left primetime pundits in taking on President Donald Trump, including the hilarious insinuation that they’re attacking him out of “love for the Constitution.”

Go ahead and criticize President Trump’s Mika tweet, but there’s no denying this was disturbing. On Thursday’s Hardball, MSNBC pundit Chris Matthews compared the President to not only communist Ethiopian dictator Mengistu Haile Mariam and a modern-day Romanov but also channel Benito Mussolini having son-in-law Jared Kushner murdered.

Fresh off his newfound stardom after arguing with White House deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Tuesday afternoon, The Sentinel and Playboy writer Brian Karem told MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews that he (and the press corps) are “tired of being paddled” as liberal pushers of fake news.

Further illustrating the blatant collusion between the Democratic Party and the news media, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews and Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal (Conn.) spent Wednesday night predicting that history will look back on the Trump era and conclude the liberal media were “the heroes” who stood for decency and truth.
