The shameless ABC reality show, What Would You Do?, which pits people against one another in front of hidden cameras, returned Tuesday night. In the quest for ratings, host John Quinones actually stoked racial tensions by hiring actors to go into public places and get into a heated argument over the Confederate flag.
GMA's Robach Gushes Over 'Homecoming King' Andrew Cuomo
June 17th, 2020 10:12 AM
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo sat down for an embarrassing, gooey interview on ABC’s Good Morning America Wednesday. Co-anchor Amy Robach tossed the Democrat plenty of softballs, while only offering two critical questions. Shockingly, she completely ignored Cuomo's coronavirus nursing home scandal.
GMA Interviews Seattle Police Chief, Ignores Her Blaming Dem Officials
June 12th, 2020 11:21 AM
ABC’s interview with Seattle police chief Carmen Best Friday morning seemed to purposefully exclude the police chief’s comments blasting city officials in the Democrat-led city of Seattle, for forcing police to leave and allow activists to set up their own experiment in anarchy. Instead of playing those comments, co-anchor Amy Robach invited the police chief to attack President Trump, instead…
ABC Scores Interview With Omar, Yawns at Her History of Anti-Semitism
May 26th, 2020 12:01 PM
Good Morning America on Tuesday scored an exclusive interview with Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, allowing the Democrat to hype her new book. Not mentioned at all in the interview? Her history of anti-Semitic remarks as well as other controversies. Shockingly, however, co-host Amy Robach pressed Omar (twice) on the woman accusing Joe Biden of sexual assault.

CNN Analyst: GOP 'Caricature' Hunter Biden as a 'Troubled' Witness
January 15th, 2020 3:58 PM
On Wednesday's New Day, CNN analyst Michael Smerconish suggested Republicans may be unhappily surprised if they called Hunter Biden as a witness in the Senate impeachment trial, because there's "this caricature that has been created of Hunter Biden being a very troubled and ill-equipped individual," but he graduated from Yale Law and "comported himself well" in a softball interview with ABC News…
#YearInReview: Here’s the Ten Most-Read NewsBusters Blogs of 2019
December 31st, 2019 10:00 AM
2019 was another year of smashing success for the NewsBusters team as we had umpteen media stories to cover throughout the year, whether it was the Jussie Smollett debacle, the Mueller Report, impeachment, 2020 debates, and more online censorship. While it may seem repetitive, NewsBusters would be nowhere near what its become since its inception in 2005 without the support of beloved readers (and…
Wow: Nets Praise Texas Churchgoers for Being Armed, Stopping Attack
December 30th, 2019 4:32 PM
No, this is not a joke or an attempt at rick-rolling. The Monday morning broadcast network newscasts actually put away their usual gun control talking points after a mass shooting and emphasized how armed citizens prevented a deadly scene from becoming worse. In this case, it was Sunday’s attack on West Freeway Church of Christ outside Fort Worth, Texas.

December 21st, 2019 6:05 PM
Thanks to Project Veritas, ABC News was linked to Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged long history sexually exploiting underage girls after Project Veritas's November 5 airing of Amy Robach admitting on a hot mic that the network intentionally quashed her interview with Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of the exploited women. Giuffre has alleged she was repeatedly raped by Prince Andrew. According to…
Nets Silent on Congress Investigating ABC Cover-Up of Burying Epstein
November 18th, 2019 12:02 PM
All three morning shows on Monday ignored the move by Congress to investigate ABC covering up the network’s burying of the Jeffrey Epstein story back in 2016. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy co-authored a letter to ABC’s president about the sexual predator and how journalist ABC Amy Robach was not allowed report on her extensive 2016 findings. McCarthy wrote, “What appears to have been…
ABC’s Epstein Debacle Is Just the Media's Latest Credibility Scandal
November 16th, 2019 4:00 PM
Last week in this space the hypocrisy of ABC News when it came to an internal whistleblower was discussed. I said this: “And when it comes a whistleblower who blew the whistle on the network’s protection of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein? ABC went out of its way to get another network to fire that suspected whistleblower - in spite of her flat denials. It doesn’t get more hypocritical than that.”

November 10th, 2019 2:21 PM
On Sunday CNN’s Reliable Sources, which bills itself as a program about “the media world”, failed to spend even a second of airtime on the week’s biggest media story: the revelation that in 2016, ABC allegedly suppressed a story about convicted serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Network Hypocrisy: Two Standards on Sex Scandals and Whistleblowers
November 9th, 2019 4:00 PM
Recall the furor over the Access Hollywood tape in the fall of 2016? In which someone leaked a tape from the NBC show, two days before the second presidential debate, to The Washington Post? The tape had then-presidential candidate Donald Trump making a lewd and repellent remark about women to the show’s host Billy Bush? Uproar ensued. Trump issued an apology and Billy Bush was forced to resign.
