There is clearly a method in Donald Trump’s Twitter madness. He attacked Rev. Al Sharpton as a "con man" who "hates whites and cops." This caused leading Democrats to rush to Twitter to defend Sharpton as a lifelong leader in "civil rights" and whitewashed his hateful, hoaxster past. That's just the way his NBC bosses describe him. Who, precisely, is enabling racial hatred?   

On Tuesday, all three network morning shows seized on left-wing MSNBC host and controversial activist Al Sharpton attacking President Trump as a “racist” and “bigot.” What was completely missing from the coverage was any mention of Sharpton’s own history of offensive language and racial divisiveness.

Following a full report on Monday’s Today show denouncing President Trump’s criticism of Maryland Congressman Elijah Cummings, fill-in co-host and NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt fretted that Trump had a new target: “Hallie, the President’s also going after longtime civil rights advocate Al Sharpton this morning. Do we know why?”

How about that, perpetually aggrieved House Democrat Illhan Omar and President Trump have something in common -- both want to make America great, at least as Al Sharpton sees it. The difference being, Trump remembers an America that was great before it fell into decline while Omar sees no greatness whatsoever in its past, again according to "the Reverend" Sharpton.
