According to some liberal media outlets and activist groups, crisis pregnancy centers are misleading, coercive and dangerous to women. Now, because of this false narrative, one such center is facing a lawsuit that strikes at the very core of freedom of conscience and speech. 

The third season of Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt took a turn into the world of politics by incorporating random snarky political one-liners into almost all of the thirteen half-hour episodes. With Hillary Clinton supporter and SNL alum Tina Fey as a co-creator of this internet series, it should be no surprise that the 2016 presidential election worked its way into dialogue.

When you set out to watch a show with a name like I Love Dick, Amazon Prime’s newest streaming series which debuted Friday, May 12, you should already be prepared for the shock value that’s inevitable with such a title. But nothing can truly prepare you for the vile filth that this show assaults you with.

On Thursday, ABC cancelled the Tim Allen sitcom Last Man Standing, which had been running on the network for six seasons. During the 2012 election, ABC censored a joke on the show calling then-president Barack Obama a communist. And now ABC has cancelled Last Man Standing allegedly because of a dispute by the show’s distributor 20th Century Fox.  

Awards once meant something. There was a time not that long ago when they were given in recognition of important accomplishments. Today, we tend to value celebrity over steady achievement. Fame is paramount. It matters little how one attains it. The Kardashians are just one of many examples.

It’s fair to say most people missed the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards from March 11. That being said, the show was so trashy and off the charts, it made last year look tame by comparison. The hits included sexually-charged musical performances and drug use references.
