When MSNBC’s Joy Reid plays the race card, it is usually over typical progressive grievances, but on Friday, the eponymous host of The ReidOut came up with a new one: men’s favorite women’s basketball players. For her and The Atlantic’s Jemele Hill, nobody is jealous of Clark’s popularity because she is white and straight, but it is why America likes her.

“Goodfellas” actor Frank Sivero isn’t a household name, but this week he shamed his famous peers.

On CNN's State of the Union, host Dana Bash defends Joe Biden over critical remarks on his record on race that Kamala Harris made against him. Bash brushes off the remarks as having been made by Karris when she and Biden were running against each other for the Democrat presidential nomination. But as her guest Sen. Tim Scott points out, the truth of Harris's accusations can be confirmed. 

The Nation’s justice correspondent Elie Mystal joined MSNBC’s All In With Chris Hayes on Friday for a profoundly unenlightening conversation about all of the Supreme Court’s recent news and  nontroversies. In Mystal’s mind, “the through line” between Justice Samuel Alito’s flags and Clarence Thomas’s “coup story” is that they don’t support voting rights for black people.

MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell spread straight-up disinformation on her Friday show as she accused Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas of condemning the famous 1954 case Brown v. Board of Education that ruled segregation unconstitutional because, apparently, nobody at MSNBC knows how to read.

CNN Newsroom host Jim Acosta and senior political commentator and occasionally co-host of The View Ana Navarro sought on Friday to explain the “disconnect” between former President Donald Trump’s “rhetoric… about migrants” and minority support for him. Navarro claimed such voters have “a very stupid attitude” and suggested they are on a doomed mission to appease racists who…

If beauty is only skin deep, that explains the ugly heart of the staunchly racist and anti-Semitic co-host of ABC’s The View, Sunny Hostin (the descendant of slave owners). During Wednesday’s show, she lashed out at WNBA star Caitlin Clark “because she's white, because she's attractive,” and because she’s not a lesbian.

Actor, alleged comedian, and massive narcissist John Leguizamo stopped by CBS and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday to hype his MSNBC miniseries about “Latinx lenses all across America.” Before that, however, Leguizamo blasted Univision for not bashing Donald Trump all the time and that, as a result, he trumpeted that he will no longer be appearing on the network.

Without a doubt, many readers here at NewsBusters were mega-dittos fans of the late, great Rush Limbaugh. In today’s media world perhaps you listen to conservative talk radio hosts Sean Hannity or Rush’s successors Clay Travis and Buck Sexton, or Glenn Beck or Jesse Kelly. Or, indeed someone else, perhaps a local conservative host in your area.

As to the double murder case against O.J. Simpson, there was so much evidence that his guilt was obvious. Historian Doris Kearns Goodwin traveled to CBS and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday to promote her new book, which is part history, part memoir about her and her late husband’s experiences in the 1960s. For Goodwin and Colbert, the main takeaway was that the achievements of the 60s, such as civil rights, are currently under threat.

The student's family is now consulting with an attorney to address the incident, fearing it may negatively impact the student's academic record and future scholarship opportunities.
