As of July 25, network newscasts have completely ignored the violence caused by the Occupy ICE PDX antifa group in Portland, Oregon, despite their usual penchant for covering pro-immigration protests. On Friday, the network morning shows devoted much of their coverage of President Trump’s visit to Britain on protesters “denouncing and mocking” him. Hosts and correspondents seemed to delight in the president receiving a “not-so-royal welcome” and being taunted by a giant balloon flying over the British capital “depicting Mr. Trump as an angry baby.”

Following Friday’s joint press conference in Chequers, England between President Donald Trump and U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May, NBC rushed to its safe space amongst their pals in the anti-Trump, far-left protesters marching the streets of London and fretting that the President tussled with reporters. 

The establishment media couldn’t stump the Trump, the US politicians couldn’t derail the Donald’s campaign, and the purple-haired feminists couldn’t put a chink in his armor with all that screaming. Still there is one last hope. The petty pranksters and irreverent humorists in the UK have sworn to give the U.S. president the “trolling of a lifetime.”

The British people have been eagerly anticipating Trump’s visit to the UK this summer. Rolling out a rather cheeky welcome, the anti-Trumpers across the pond have prepared protests and even picked an official song to go with their rebellion, perfect for mocking the boisterous US leader: Green Day’s “American Idiot.”
