In another Hollywood middle finger towards border protection agency ICE, several celebrities have rallied around a detained illegal immigrant, demanding that lawmakers, including Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio, rethink their calls for his deportation.

Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton is going on the offensive against the Southern Poverty Law Center. The Republican is asking for an IRS investigation to re-evaluate the legal group’s tax exempt status, based on the grounds that the SPLC works less for the sake of civil rights, and more for the sake of progressive politics.

Buffalo, New York’s regional airport just followed a San Antonio airport’s lead in being delusional enough to trust the judgment of crazy lefty outlet ThinkProgress and banned Chick-Fil-A on account of their supposed anti-LGBTQ discrimination.  

Despite all the obstacles in its path, pro-life film Unplanned had quite a successful opening weekend. Surprising many, the film placed fifth in the weekend box office even with its limited release, boasted the “highest per screen average” of any indie film debut in US history, and almost tripled industry predictions for how much revenue it would generate.

In not-so-shocking-but-certainly-infuriating news, it’s been reported that several big cable television networks have refused to promote the new pro-life anti-Planned Parenthood movie, Unplanned. “It isn’t for lack trying on the part of marketers,” The Hollywood Reporter claimed. “It’s that their “efforts have been consistently rebuffed by TV networks.”

The 30th GLAAD Media Awards premiered Thursday night and per usual it was a celebration of all things gay in Hollywood and a skewering of the usual suspects, like Vice President Mike Pence. Still, there was one bit you might not expect to see at an openly gay awards show, with actor Sean Hayes slamming gay, black hate hoaxer Jussie Smollett.
