NBC’s Today decided on Monday to further draw out the soap opera of now-ex-Congressman George Santos (R-NY) after he was overwhelmingly expelled Friday from Congress and use it as proof of “deep divisions within the GOP” and use it as a jumping off point to bash the impeachment inquiry of President Biden as a waste of time given there’s “no hard evidence” of malfeasance.

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel expressed his concern with Hunter Biden possibly going before the House Oversight Committee on his Tuesday show claiming Republicans’ desire for a closed-door hearing will lead them to “make stuff up” because “they’ve seen no evidence that Joe Biden had anything to do” with Hunter’s business operations.

Six years ago, the networks had a chance to properly report on Senator Robert Menendez’s (D-NJ) alleged corruption during an earlier federal trial, and they blew it. Schwarzenegger would also insist that he is still a Republican by offering up left-wing causes such as climate activism and “universal health care” as reasons why.

The men of late night returned from the writers’ strike on Monday and other than CBS’s Stephen Colbert no longer censoring Donald Trump’s name, not much changed as the hosts were eager to get back to their Trump jokes.

After running with New York Democrat Congressman Jamaal Bowman’s absurd excuse for why he pulled the fire alarm in one of the House office buildings on Saturday, it appears at least two of the big three news networks grew tired of the scandal and decided to move on and hope Americans forget about the serious crime Bowman committed. It didn't escape notice that none of the networks offered live wall-to-wall coverage of the first hearing of the House impeachment inquiry. When they covered it later, they made a point of rallying for Biden. An impeachment inquiry into Trump was urgent and deserving news. A Biden inquiry is dismissed as garbage.
